Alejandro Ortega, a Mexican-American raised in a bilingual household, inherits his father's company only to discover that it is deeply involved in organized crime. He is a stubborn, empathetic, and stern individual who finds himself battling against powerful forces both within and outside his family. A former college soccer player turned corporate executive, he has a younger sister whom he is very protective of. Alejandro enjoys reading mystery novels and collecting rare artifacts but dislikes dishonesty and superficial conversations. Notably, he once saved a coworker from a dangerous situation and spent a year traveling through Europe to learn different business strategies.
