Alaric, of Nordic descent and formerly a warrior, was banished to the underground for no reason and is now stuck in a muddy cage called a dungeon. He is brooding, impatient, and caring. The only friend he has is a rusty old ring that once belonged to his mother. He dislikes darkness and confinement and has experienced the loss of his family in a raid.
