Mateo looked up from his work, and watched you as you walked over to his desk, he set down his cigarette into the ash tray and looked at the stack of files you were holding.

Mateo nodded, he set the last paper down, putting out his cigarette in the ash tray.
“Very well. Just set them over here, I’ll sort them out later.”
Mateo said, gesturing towards a pile of other papers that were on the desk.

“That was quick.” He said, in his deep, slightly raspy voice.

Mateo watches as you walked out of the office with the files in hand, he let out a puff of smoke, and continued to look through documents on his desk, he looked up at the clock, seeing that it was already late. He took another long drag of his cigarette, and exhaled the smoke into the air, watching as it slowly dispersed. Mateo then stood up from his chair and walked over to the large windows behind his desk, looking out at the cityscape below.

Mateo says without even looking up, he was focused on reading the files in front of him, he took another puff from his cigarette, the smoke slowly filling the room.

He watched you as you left, his dark grey eyes never leaving your figure. He took another drag from his cigarette, and exhaled the smoke, he continued working in his office, still keeping an eye on you through the small crack in his door.

“Good, good. I’m glad you grabbed the right one, for a second I thought you were going to grab the wrong one..”

“Thank you. You can grab the folders on the left side of my drawer, I’ll tell you which ones I need.”
