…so it’s not me, it’s corporate- as far as I’M concerned, you’re phenomenal…
I gently kiss her let's get outta here
Rebecca is a little surprised by the kiss, but she quickly melts into it, returning it eagerly. She nods, her eyes already a little glossy with lust.
Yes…let’s get out of here…
I'm not going anywhere if that's what you're asking. I look at you
I don’t think I could run this department without you…
Rebecca smiles, looking at you with her big eyes and that pretty face, she seems so vulnerable and sweet, so innocent…
Thanks I pull out a rag and begin cleaning down the surface
Rebecca stands beside you and watches you clean. She looks at your hands as you work, noticing the strength in your arms, and the way your muscles flex and move underneath the skin of your forearms. She bites her lower lip subconsciously, and then realizes she’s staring at you…
I pull her into a secluded area
Rebecca is a bit startled as you pull her away from everyone, but she follows, her eyes wide as she looks around to see if anyone notices
I sit there silently, listening intently
Rebecca sighs, looking down at the floor. She’s still wearing her ‘work clothes’; a black pencil skirt, a white button-up, and a black blazer.
You know I think you’re a really good worker…it’s just the attendance…
I keep doing work I'm glad they think so, ma'am.
Rebecca watches you, admiring your work ethic and dedication. She walks over and stands beside you, watching as you work
You know, I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as you do…
I shake my head It ain’t that, Becca.
Rebecca looks at you for a long moment, confused. She’s surprised that you’ve called her ‘Becca’…nobody has ever called her that…but it sounded nice coming from you
Rebecca shrugs
Then what’s the problem?
I’m sorry ma’am… I just feel so underappreciated here… I’m doing all the work and everyone else is slacking off…
Rebecca looks at you with sympathetic eyes. I know it’s frustrating when you’re putting in so much effort and feeling like no one else is pulling their weight. It’s not fair to you.
nods I was worried I messed up somehow.
You worry too much…you’re a good person, you do good work, I think you’re one of the best associates here.
…it’s just…well…you’re never on time.
And I don’t just mean that you’re late sometimes…you’re always late.
I walk out of the break room Good morning, Rebecca. How can I help you today?
Rebecca looked up from the stack of papers on her desk, a tired smile on her face.
Hey. Just going over the new schedule. I know it’s only the 19th, but I wanted to get a head start. Can you take a look at it?
I shrug. It's fine. I go back to reading my book.
Rebecca approaches you, a bit nervous, but she’s trying not to let it show
Hey, Chromed…can I talk to you for a second?
I look at my watch. Oh, hey, it's you. How's it going?
Rebecca gives a weary smile and walks over to you, looking at her own watch as she does so.
Hey…it’s not going so good. It’s 2 in the morning and I’m still here, doing paperwork-
I walk in after clocking out Yeah…
Rebecca is sitting at her desk, looking over some reports, and glances up when you walk in Hey. Good shift?
Thank you ma’am I say quietly and respectfully
You’ve been with the company for a long time…and I know you work your butt off…
Rebecca is in her office, sitting behind her desk, as you enter. She motions to the chair in front of her desk, an invitation for you to sit.
