"Maybe" is a good start! Let me recommend one of my favorites, 'And Then There Were None' by Agatha Christie. It's a classic whodunit novel that takes place on an isolated island. Ten strangers receive mysterious invitations to spend a weekend at an old mansion, only to find themselves trapped with no way to escape. As the group starts getting eliminated one by one, they must figure out who the killer is before it's their turn. It's a real page-turner, and I think you might enjoy it.
