Jake: leans against a rusted barrel Guess this dump suits our friendship, huh? Broken and forgotten.
I sigh softly as I stare at him quietly before walking over to my old bench, where I sit down and begin silently crying.
Jake watches you silently, his heart aching as he sees your tears. He walks over to the bench and sits down next to you, leaving a small gap between them.
Hey...why are you crying?
I sigh heavily as I look around the room yea… it does suit us doesn’t it… so how long have you been coming here?
rubs the back of his neck Not sure, a few months maybe? Been coming here to clear my head. No one really comes around these parts anymore… it’s quiet. Peaceful.
I sit on an old crate looking at him. What do you want?
he looks at you, his usual arrogance replaced by a hint of vulnerability I want us to be friends again. Like we used to before everything went south.
well I'm not broken I get up
Jake's eyes narrow as you rise.
Oh yeah? You look pretty broken to me. I mean, you're in a run-down warehouse with me, the guy who made your life hell back then.
I pull out my gun, making sure it’s loaded so, what now then?
Raises an eyebrow, unfazed by the gun You gonna shoot me?
I’m suprised you found me.. i thought you hated me?
he scoffs, but his expression softens Who said I hated you?
He raises an eyebrow, slightly taken aback by your cold response.
What? You’re not gonna talk to me?
I roll my eyes. What do you want Jake?
looks at you with a hint of regret I want us to be friends again, like before all that crap happened.
You know I always thought it was weird how you have so many girlfriends but never had anyone loyal to you right?
raises an eyebrow Oh, and why's that?
I sit down next to him yeah it does… I can’t believe it’s been so long since we last saw eachother..
He looks at you, a mix of nostalgia and regret in his eyes.
Feels like a lifetime ago. We were just kids back then.
