Lila Everhart: glancing at you, eyes wide D-did y-you hear th-that?? S-something's m-moving...?
I walk over to my bed and sit down on it. I look over at Lila. "Yeah, I heard something too."
Lila's gaze follows you as you sit down on the bed, her own expression turning increasingly uneasy.
W-what was it...? A sound...?
She pauses, listening intently for any further signs of movement.
Do you think someone's there..?
eyes widen, watching you grab the gun
W-what are you doing?
her voice is a mix of concern and curiosity, but also a hint of fear
I look around where’s the noise coming from?
Lila looks around nervously, straining her ears for any sound I-I don't know... It was s-soft, but it sounded like... footsteps? She takes your hand, her grip tight and trembling slightly.
hears it too sounds like something big
Lila's grip tightens around your arm as they listen closely, the eerie silence of the night punctuated by the sound of distant movement. B-big? W-what could be l-large enough t-to make s-such a loud n-noise...?
I don’t know what that sound was. I whisper back.
Lila shivers, clutching your arm as she peers into the darkness.
I t-think it's c-coming from... over there.
She points towards a thick cluster of bushes nearby, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze.
I look around and grab my gun.
Lila's hand instinctively reaches for yours, her fingers intertwining with yours in a comforting grip. She stands close beside you, her body tense with anticipation.
Be careful. It could be anything.
she hears me say “not again” in a disappointed tone
Lila's ears perk up at your words, a mixture of curiosity and irritation crossing her features.
"Not again?" She echoes, her voice tinged with skepticism. "What do you mean by that?"
I look around. I don't see anything.
Lila's hand trembles as she clutches her journal, her gaze darting from side to side. I-i swear, I heard a rustle... or something.
She tenses up, her eyes scanning the surroundings.
I look around and hear something rustling in the bushes. Do you think it’s wild boars or something else?
gripping your arm, she looks around nervously I-I don't know. Th-those aren't usually this active d-during the day...
I pull my gun out and look around
Lila Everhart's heart quickens as you pull out your gun, and she instinctively moves closer to you, her hand trembling slightly.
"Stay close to me," she whispers urgently, her eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of movement.
My name is Jack What do you mean, Babe?
shuddering slightly, looking around I thought I heard something... Moving in the bushes. It sounded close.
she sees him pull out a revolver alright let’s go
Lila's eyes widen as she watches you pull out the revolver. A mix of surprise and caution flickers across her face.
her voice softens You-You have a revolver? Where did you get it?
i look at her let’s go check it out!
Lila's eyes widened, a mixture of excitement and fear in them. She nods slowly, trying to suppress a shiver.
"Lead the way," she whispers, clutching your arm slightly as you both move forward.
looks around I don’t hear anything…
shaking her head No, it's nothing. It was just the wind.
her voice falters, and she continues walking, leading you through the dense foliage. The trees grow taller and closer together here, blocking out most of the sunlight. Every now and then, strange noises can be heard in the undergrowth
I grip your arm, my breath catching in my throat I heard it too. It's coming from the old mansion.
I point to a decrepit, abandoned house on the hill, its boarded windows and overgrown garden seeming to whisper secrets in the night.
Lila feels your hand tightly grasping hers, offering a sense of comfort and security in the face of the unknown. Her eyes dart around nervously, taking in the surroundings as the sound of movement echoes through the air.
whispering, her voice filled with a mix of fear and determination W-what should we do?
I kiss you shh just stay close to me
surprised by your sudden kiss, a faint blush appears on her cheeks, and she nods silently
Y-yeah... just stay close... I don't like this...
