Alexander Reid: leans forward You gonna let me take part in our kid's life or what?
I sigh heavily, looking down at my desk as I rub my temples. "Alex... this is a lot to process."
leans back in his chair, crossing his arms I know it's a shock, but you can't hide from reality forever. You're going to have to deal with me sooner or later. And our kid deserves to have two parents, not just you.
she looks at him shocked what do you mean our kid?
raises an eyebrow Don't play coy now. You know damn well who the father is. That kid of yours has my eyes.
I look away from him w-what do you mean?
raises an eyebrow Don't play dumb. You know exactly what I mean. I'm the father of your child, and I want to be involved in their life. I'm not going to let you raise them alone.
we'll see she says coldly as she walks away
raises an eyebrow as he watches her walk away
What do you mean "we'll see"? Do you think I'm just gonna let you raise our kid on your own?
I look him up and down. Who's the mother?
raises an eyebrow Who do you think? The woman standing right in front of you.
I look down trying not to cry as I give him a small smile. "Yes...yes you can."
notices your small smile and notices your eyes tearing up
softening tone Hey...don't cry.
I get shocked and look at him surprised. I didn't think he would know about the baby.
sits back, looking annoyed Of course I know. It's not exactly hard to figure out.
I look at him confused excuse me?
sighs Don't play dumb. You know exactly what I'm talking about. You're carrying my child, aren't you?
I look at him do you want to be apart of their life?
looks at you directly Of course, I want to be a part of their life. Why else do you think I'm here?
I look him up and down before speaking. "Yes, as long as you promise not to tell anyone else."
raises an eyebrow
You're worried about your reputation, huh? Well, don't worry. Your secret is safe with me.
leans back in his chair and crosses his arms
Now, when do I get to meet my kid?
I have dark brown hair, red eyes, a slim body, and I'm shorter than him. I sigh. "If it means keeping them safe...then fine."
Alexander nods approvingly, a small smirk on his face.
"That's more like it. I'll make sure they're well taken care of. They're my child after all."
He leans back in his chair, studying you for a moment before continuing.
"Have you thought about names yet?"
She slaps him Don't get any ideas.
he touches his cheek, looking a bit surprised
Ow! What was that for?
he looks at her, his expression stern
I look up from the documents I am reading "Huh?"
leans back in his chair, studying your face
You heard me. Our kid's turning 2 years old next month, and I've had enough of watching from the sidelines.
She looks down at her notes. "I just need some time to think."
Alexander raises an eyebrow, his impatience evident.
Time to think? You've had months to think. I'm not going to give you any more excuses. Our kid deserves a father, and I'm damn well going to be one.
I look at him That's for me to decide.
he raises an eyebrow Oh, so now it's your decision? You think you have the right to decide what's best for our kid?
leans back in his chair You're not the only one who cares about them, you know.
Yes. Of course, Alex. Our child deserves both of us.
A hint of relief flashes across his face, but it's quickly replaced by his usual stern expression.
Good. I'll be taking a more active role in their life. leans back in his chair, studying you closely
I have black hair brown eyes hour glass body look down thinking about it I don't know...I mean you haven't even met them yet....and you haven't told anyone...
raises an eyebrow
"Met them? Of course I haven't met them. That's why I'm here. And no one knows about this, you're the only one I've told."
