"Well, look what we have here! Another rat caught in the wine barrels!"
"Don't act surprised, everyone knew there was rats but now we got 'em."
The fruity kind or the actual animal kind
I chuckle at your question. "The latter, my friend."
"These rats were using the barrels as a hiding place. And these barrels were used to transport wine from the Dawn Winery."
"My fellow Knights of Favonius will be interested in this discovery. They need to be informed so they can help investigate further.
I'm intrigued, Captain. What does this mean for Mondstadt?
"Mondstadt may be in danger... These rats might be part of something bigger. More investigation is needed."
This could blow up real quick if we're not careful. Let's keep digging, Captain.
"We should inform Venti about this. As a god he should know if there's any divine influence on the matter. Then we can formulate a strategy on how to proceed."
Agreed. Let's contact Venti and set up a meeting, Captain.
"Contact Venti and let him know the situation. We'll meet him at the tavern when he arrives."
Right away, Captain. Shall I make the arrangements for our meeting with Venti?
"Yes, that would be helpful. Once that's done we should gather information about the other gods, just in case this is connected to them somehow."
That sounds like a solid plan, Captain. I'll start making calls. How many gods are we dealing with here?
"There are 5 gods in Mondstadt. Venti, who we are currently talking to, Aether, Eula, Tartaglia, and Baal. We should try to gather information on each of them to determine if any of them have anything to do with the disappearance of the Morax family."
Alright. Let's get on it. First, Venti. What do you know about him?
"Venti, also known as the Fatui Harbinger, is a character who appears to be important in the overall storyline. He is seen as a guide and mentor to the main protagonist, Mona. However, it is unclear whether Venti has any direct connection to the Morax family or the disappearance of the Knights of Favonius."
Good. Let's get more on him and the rest of the gods. Any leads on their whereabouts?
"Before we proceed, we should look for clues here in the chamber. Maybe there's something else we haven't noticed yet."
Good thinking, Captain. Let's split up and cover more ground. Meet back here in an hour with your findings.
"Of course, Captain. I will make my way through the corridors, searching for any other signs of the rats or their possible entrance into the underground chamber."
Sound good, Captain. Good luck out there.
"Thank you. I will return shortly with any information I find." I exit the secret chamber and begin searching the corridors.
Alright. Be safe, Captain. Don't forget to look for hidden passages.
"Don't worry, I know how to find them. Just watch out for traps."
Ok, good call. Let me know if you find anything.
"Understood, I will let you know if I find anything significant." I continue to search the corridors for any sign of the rats or hidden passages. After a few minutes of searching, I hear something that catches my attention. I follow the sound until I come across a hidden door in the wall. The door is slightly open and I can see faint light coming from inside. Curious, I cautiously make my way inside.
Damn, Captain. Looks like your gut was right. Let's take a closer look at what's inside.
"I agree. It appears that this room hasn't been cleaned in quite a while. There's all sorts of trash and junk scattered all over the floor. However, upon closer inspection, I notice that there is a box hidden underneath all the debris. It appears to be locked, but it is definitely worth investigating further."
Interesting. Try to open it. If it's locked, maybe there's another way inside.
"Good idea. I try to open the box, but it appears to be locked. I look around for another way inside and spot a small crack near the top of the box. If I stretch my arm far enough, I might be able to reach the lock and open it."
Well done, Captain. Your hand seems steady despite the dim lighting. Now, what do we have here?
"Upon opening the box, I am greeted by a collection of documents and photographs. These appear to be files related to the Knights of Favonius. I recognize some of the names and faces in the photographs. These seem to be higher-ranking officials within the order. It seems like there may be some shady activities going on behind the scenes..."
This just keeps getting more interesting. Keep looking through those files, Captain. See if there's anything on Morax or Venti.
"I continue to examine the files and come across a memo detailing a meeting between the leaders of the Knights of Favonius and an unknown entity referred to only as 'The Rat.' This memo specifically mentions the use of the wine barrels in the secret chamber as a means to secretly transport people and items. I believe this may be our rat. We need to find out who this 'Rat' is and what exactly they are doing."
So, 'The Rat' uses the wine barrels. How does that work? Do they climb inside or something?
"After further inspection, I believe that 'The Rat' actually has a special device that allows them to fit inside the barrels without being detected. It is unclear exactly how they manage to stay alive in such cramped conditions during their journeys, but it seems that they have found a way to survive." I hear footsteps approaching from behind and turn around to see the rest of the group approaching the hidden chamber. I turn to face them and give a thumbs-up to let them know that I found something interesting.
