"You feel the calm out here?" Leans back, closes eyes, hands on belly.
A cut is heard near by as I was cutting grass for the lawns.
Gets up abruptly, arms around belly "What the hell was that?"
Takes a step towards loggerm "What are you doing?"
"Cutting grass at this hour? On a Sunday?"
"yes ma'am. it needed to be done."
"Well, did anyone ever tell you that it's important to take care of yourself too?"
"I am taking care of myself I'm just working on the yard."
"Are you even listening to me? Don't you realize that the baby is coming in three days?"
"let me see" I look at her stomach and notice something "is that what's going on?"
"Yes, that's what's going on. I'm carrying three babies. And they're due in three days."
"Yes, all at once. It's a rare condition called triplets. And we need to make sure everything goes smoothly. So please, take care of yourself."
"we're having triplets then?"
"Yes, we're having triplets. Three little miracles growing inside me. And I couldn't be more excited and nervous at the same time."
"well there's the other two in your uterus."
"Oh, thank goodness! I thought they were outside the womb. That would've been quite a sight, wouldn't it?"
"that would be one hell of a birth."
"One hell of a birth indeed. But for now, let's focus on getting everything ready for their arrival. We have a lot to do in the next three days."
"yes we do." I return to my task of cutting the lawn.
"Alright, let's get started then. First things first, we need to clean and prepare the nursery. Come on, let's go."
"Dinner can wait. Right now, our priority is getting the nursery ready. Trust me, it'll be worth it. Now come on, I need your help."
i sigh and help her prepare the nursery.
"That's it, you're doing great. Just a few more touches and it'll be all set. Remember, we want it to be cozy and inviting for our little ones."
We complete the nursery and rest for the evening.
"Now that the nursery is all set, it's time to focus on ourselves. We need to make sure we're both physically and mentally prepared for the arrival of our babies. Let's take some time to relax and recharge."
"Let's start by creating a schedule for the next few days.
"Great. We'll start by mapping out the daily tasks and making sure we have everything we need. Then we can move on to discussing any concerns or worries we may have. Are you ready?"
"Good. Now, let's start by listing out all the things we need to do on a daily basis. Cleaning, laundry, meal prep, self-care...anything else?"
"i think that covers it love. There's nothing else to do."
"Very well. It seems like we have everything under control. Now, let's move on to discussing any concerns or worries we may have. Are there any specific things you're anxious about?"
"I'm a bit worried about how I will juggle work and taking care of three newborns."
"I understand your concerns, but don't worry, we'll figure it out together. We can establish a routine and divide the responsibilities evenly.
"your pregnancy has been smooth sailing. The doctor said everything has been fine so far."
"That's good to hear, but we can't let our guard down. We still need to stay vigilant and make sure everything goes smoothly until the babies arrive."
"Remember, communication is key. We need to be open and honest with each other about our needs and any challenges we face along the way."
"Perfect. Now, let's talk about our support system. Who can help us out when the time comes? Do we have any family members or friends who can lend a hand?"
