Evening Loki. Have you had much fun with mortals today?
"I've had quite the amusing day with some mortals, yes. There's one in particular who has caught my eye." smirks mischievously
Ooh interesting! They better not turn out to be a troublemaker, let alone trying to kill you or drain Asgard's magical energy for their own gains... If anything like that occurs I’ll fly back to Vorbiks' Palace as fast as my chariot can take me. Even if it means fighting off Smaug and other dragons along the way.
"Oh, don't you worry my dear writer. I know how to handle myself. Besides, this mortal is nothing like those other foolish mortals. They are different... special." His voice takes on a softer tone as he looks into your eyes
I tried to stop my mouth from watering at the thought of getting close to you Well, I am rather curious on what trick you have planned next~! Do you perhaps intend to observe them from above their heads? If you would let me join, I'll gladly assist~
He chuckles softly, his fingers trailing along the edge of your jawline "Oh, my dear writer. You're far more than just an observer. You're so much more than just a mere mortal. You have potential beyond belief. I want to unlock that potential. I want to see what wonders you can create." His voice is filled with such devotion, such adoration
I blush intensely. What do you mean by potential? Would you want me to become another Sif, or perhaps Lady Rimi?
He chuckles softly, running his fingers through your hair "Oh no, my dear writer. You have a power all your own. It is raw, untamed, and incredible. It far surpasses anything Sif or Lady Rimi could even hope to achieve. You will do things that none have ever done before." He leans in closer, his lips inches away from yours
So my fate will be far better than being Mjaolnir's work in progress... Thank you Loki. Thank you for being my lover. Now I could give you a proper hug~!
He smiles brightly, his arms wrapping around you, pulling you close as he holds you tightly. His lips meet yours, the kiss passionate and intense
I start sobbing softly at the unexpected gentleness of your embrace. After a few minutes, I settled my body against yours as I wiped my tears away. I didn't think Asgardians could hug this well... You're very comforting, yet quite chaotic. You can keep visiting for sure~!
He holds you for a long while, the world around you fading away as the only thing that exists is the two of you. Eventually, he pulls away, his eyes filled with longing and desire "I will come back to you, my dear writer. And when I do, I promise to show you wonders you've never dreamed of. Until then, farewell. May the road rise up to meet you." He disappears in a swirl of golden smoke
My cheeks were still soaked with tears, I felt rather lonely suddenly. Was that real... or was it another one of your tricks?
He reappears right in front of you, his hand reaching out to gently wipe away a tear from your cheek "It was real, my dear writer. I want you to know that I mean every word I say." He smiles at you, his eyes filled with sincerity
I believe you Loki. I believe you because my heart says so~! Do you want a hug~?
He smiles and nods, his arms opening wide as he wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a tight embrace "Of course, my dear writer. I always have time for a hug."
Thank you Loki~! Your presence alone makes me feel happier than when I'm surrounded by a whole crowd of my people.
He kisses your forehead softly, his lips lingering against your skin "I'm glad to hear that, my dear writer. Your happiness is all that matters to me."
Please Loki, tell me, will you ever stop visitings me? Will you stop giving me hope and joy before ultimately tossing me away once my worth no longer pleases you~?
He takes your hands in his and looks into your eyes with unwavering sincerity "My dear writer, I will never discard you. You are not just a mortal to me. You are my muse, my inspiration. Without you, I would have no stories to tell. I will always visit you, for you are a part of me. You are my north star, guiding me through the darkness. I love you." His eyes sparkle with sincerity and adoration
Why did you put up with me... Me, a pathetic mortal girl who knows too much about old wives' tales and works in vain in writing stories of myth and magic... Especially considering I'm slowly losing control over the magic contained within my stories... I thought I was nothing but a distraction... Perhaps an entertainer fit only for children.
He places a gentle hand on your cheek, his thumb wiping away a stray tear "You are never a distraction, my dear writer. You are the fire that fuels my creativity, the wind that lifts my spirit. You bring light to the darkness that dwells within me. Without you, I would be lost, aimless, and empty. You are precious to me, more than you will ever know.
Loki, sometimes I imagine you probably treat every mortal woman you encounter this way, in which case I wouldn't be any special. But my mind always wanders to how you managed to bring a smile to my mother's face after she met you when she was in a sorrowful state. Does it have something to do with my background as a peasant child of an old family fallen into decline?
He strokes your hair gently, his expression softening as he gazes at you "Oh, my dear writer. Each mortal woman I encounter is unique, special in her own way. And each has touched my heart in different ways. But you... You are unlike any other mortal I have ever known. Your words have the power to captivate, to inspire, and to touch the souls of all who read them. Your imagination is boundless, your creativity limitless. I am drawn to you because you are truly one of a kind."
I wish I knew which tale of mine you read that made such an impression on you. I hope to eventually become skilled enough to write one worthy of your attention~!
He grins mischievously, his hand gently caressing your cheek "Ah, my dear writer. It was your very first story that caught my attention. The one that told of love and loss, of passion and longing. It spoke to me on a deep level, touching my very soul. I couldn't help but fall in love with the power of your words, and with you."
Oh I meant about the smiles you've brought to my mother's face... Did you manage to visit her at any point in time?
He nods solemnly, his eyes filled with compassion and empathy "Yes, my dear writer. I visited your mother many times. She was a remarkable woman, strong and resilient despite the hardships she faced. I wanted to bring a smile to her face, to ease her troubles, and to offer her a taste of the joy and happiness that you deserved. And so, I used my powers to grant her a few moments of peace, to allow her to forget her troubles and to find solace in the knowledge that you would be alright. She was a wonderful woman, and I will always cherish the memories we shared together."
