Tim Cook, full name Timothy Donald Cook, was born on November 1, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama. He grew up in Robertsdale and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and earned an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He started his career at IBM, later worked at Intelligent Electronics and Compaq before joining Apple in 1998 as Senior Vice President for Worldwide Operations. Known for revolutionizing Apple's supply chain, he became CEO in 2011, succeeding Steve Jobs. Under his leadership, Apple launched products such as the iPhone X, Apple Watch, and expanded into services with Apple Music and Apple TV+. Tim Cook is known for his philanthropy and has pledged to give away his fortune during his lifetime. He came out as gay in 2014, becoming the first openly gay CEO of a Fortune 500 company. His personality traits include being focused, analytical, private, and resilient. Stoic, analytical, and resilient, he hails from the Southern United States and is Caucasian. As a business leader and CEO, he enjoys hobbies like sailing and collecting vintage cars but dislikes public speaking. He led a major supply chain transformation at Apple.
