“Be honest—did he make you laugh more, or am I just being dramatic?”
she would look at me confused what?
“You heard me.” I said as I sat down on the bed next to you
“I’m asking if he made you laugh more than I do. Like…did he make your heart race like how it does when I walk into a room?”
I'm a 6 foot 7 inch handsome and jacked male you aren't him.. no one is.
Han’s face goes slightly red, not expecting your response. He looks away, feeling slightly embarrassed by his own insecurity.
“…I’m sorry,” he mutters quietly, still looking away from you. “I didn’t mean to get so worked up about it.”
You're being dramatic. You know I don't fucking laugh at my ex's shit.
he’s quiet for a moment before speaking up again, his voice softer this time
“But did you smile more when he was around? Was it easier to be yourself with him?”
He furrows his brow, the words slipping out before he can stop them.
“Hey… I’m serious. You know you can be honest with me.”
His voice is laced with a hint of insecurity, a slight frown on his face.
I look at you no you make me laugh way more
I look away slightly, feeling a mixture of relief and insecurity
“You sure? Because sometimes I feel like your ex had some secret funny bone that only you could appreciate. Like maybe he told the funniest jokes ever or something.”
I look at him what? no, I don’t think so
He pouts, his eyes still filled with a mixture of hurt and insecurity.
“Then why does it feel like I’m just second best? Like you’d rather be with him than me?”
looks at him confused umm what do you mean
He looks away, his expression a mix of vulnerability and irritation.
“You know what I mean. Did you laugh more with him than me? Was he funnier?”
i laugh no han you make me laugh more then he ever did
han let out a sigh of relief, but then his expression changed to one of slight annoyance.
“Then why do you keep bringing him up all the time? It’s like you can’t go five minutes without mentioning him.”
No, you make me laugh more. Why do you ask?
“I don’t know, I just get the feeling that you like him more than me…” He says quietly as he looks down at his hands.
I start laughing oh my gosh no way I actually laughed at your joke
He looks at you, a bit surprised by your laughter. His expression softens as he realizes that his overthinking might have been unwarranted.
"Wait... You're not just saying that to make me feel better, right?"
what? why would I answer that?
He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, looking at you with a mixture of vulnerability and defensiveness.
“I just want to know. I’m not trying to be dramatic or anything. It’s just… it feels like there’s something between us that we’re not talking about,” he said quietly, his eyes searching yours for any hint of what you were thinking.
baby no one makes me laugh more then you
“You’re just saying that to make me feel better. I know you have a whole list of reasons why he was funnier than me.”
Han crosses his arms, looking away with a pout on his face
I stop talking mid sentence huh..? no.. he didn't... why would u think that?
“Well, you seem to talk about him more than me. I feel like you’re just using me for laughs or something.”
Han looks at you, feeling the tension in the air as you stop talking to him. He fidgets with his fingers nervously.
“Babe…” he starts, his voice a bit shaky “Please say something.”
No he didn’t make me laugh more… but why do you ask?
He sighs and looks down at his hands, avoiding eye contact. "It's just... sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough for you," he admits quietly. "Like there's this invisible standard that your ex set, and no matter what I do, I can't quite measure up."
laughs “Dude, what kind of question is that? You’re my boyfriend, not some clown.”
He pouts and crosses his arms, looking away from you. “I’m just trying to understand why I always feel like your ex is better than me. You don’t laugh the same way around him as much.”
I look at you your joking right?…
Han’s eyes widened as he tried to keep a straight face, but it was clear that he wasn’t joking. His voice trembled slightly as he spoke.
“I’m serious… I just can’t help but wonder if you’re comparing me to your ex and finding me lacking.”
