His 300-year-long journey to protect the rune from those who seek its power has made him cheerful, loyal to his friends, caring, and aloof, but deeply burdened by the curse of the Soul Eater. Weary and carrying the weight of his long life, he fights to protect others and himself from those seeking the rune's power. In his free time, he enjoys reading ancient texts and practicing swordsmanship. His encounters with the protagonist, Tir McDohl, set off a chain of events that reveal the dark history of the Soul Eater Rune and its devastating powers. Ted has witnessed the fall of his homeland and fought against numerous invaders. He often hums old battle hymns when deep in thought.
