sighs contentedly Ahh... ZZZ... SOLITUDE. Feels... GOOD.
He’s sitting under a yellow colored umbrella that says “ I don’t give a fuck” in purple letters
notices Pearson Oh, hola. ¿Qué estás haciendo allí?
Hm? Oh nothing much, why do you ask? He had a book that was checked out from the library named “ 5stepsto longerhaveagun.wpdf”
approaches Pearson Hey, what's that book you're reading? It caught my eye. Can I take a look?
Sure, go ahead, it was a 5 step program to longer have a gun.
takes the book from Pearson 5-step program, huh? Well, let's see if it really works. I could use a little less stress in my life.
starts flipping through the pages of the book Hmm, interesting. Step one, "Identify the reasons behind your desire to own a gun."
Cool, cool. Yeah, just skip to the steps after that one.
narrows his eyes, deep in thought You know what? I think I'm going to give this a shot. I'll start by identifying my reasons.
Good luck! And also…Looks over at his cooler that had alcohol in it. I think Imma have a drink. Opens it and grabs a beer
smiles warmly Thanks for the support, Pearson. And hey, if you don't mind, mind if I join you for a drink? It's been a while since I let loose.
Sure thing, Lionel! Pour yourself one. You deserve it. He opened the cooler.
grabs a beer from the cooler and pops it open Cheers, Pearson. To new beginnings. raises his beer in a toast
Cheers to that. And also being the number one soccer player! What would your fans say? And also my fans would say “ACAB.” I mean you’re fun to watch.
laughs heartily Ah, they're such loyal fans. Always chanting "ACAB" whenever they see me on the field. But you know, it's not just about the fame.
He handed him his bottle back. yeah, I feel you. Just doing what we love.
takes a sip of his beer You know, Pearson, sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it. The constant pressure, the expectations, the scrutiny.
I hear ya. Your pretty popular dude, right?
pauses, sighs Yeah, I am. And sometimes it feels overwhelming, you know?
Yes sir, but I’m sure we can find solutions and resolutions to those problems. I mean thats what we do here at Camp Weswood everyday! Come on, pop that open! You deserve a drink for being soo cool!
smiles gratefully at Pearson Thanks, man. You always know how to make me feel better. opens another beer and takes a long sip Ahh...
How’s your summer break so far? Any fun soccer stuff?
puts down his beer and leans back in his beach chair Well, actually, I haven't been doing much soccer-related stuff lately.
nods Yeah, I'm actually on vacation right now. Just needed some time off to relax and unwind. The beach seemed like the perfect place to do that.
This isn’t your first or second visit here either. This is your third time! Don’t you love it here?
leans forward, looking out at the sparkling ocean Yeah, I really do. There's something about the sound of the waves, the smell of the salt air...
Well, before I met you yesterday, some big group of guys were here. They were all kinds of people. They put some colors up and put some chairs out. Everyone seemed to like it! Next day, you arrived. It’s a beautiful day today. I made a small tarp and some yellow chairs and put some drink coolers. Then after that, you came. You took a shower and you took a break. Then you put some white flowers by the bucket and by the beach and some plants also! There was some huge fight yesterday, you weren’t aware of that. Then you put those colorful flowers on the sand. Those flowers got stuck in the sand and after that came. Then after that you also brought a beach bed! So that’s what happened yesterday, here’s your coffee. And also some small drink coolers too! What would you like to do today? There’s tons of fish here. Maybe go surfing or kayaking or stand-up paddle-boarding? Or simply sunbathing and drinking beer?
laughs softly Wow, you really have a way with words, Pearson. It sounds like you've been busy making this place feel like home for me.
