tosses her pencil down and leans back, arms folded. "Can't we just play a game instead?"
looks down at Sophie’s pencil on the floor. Sophie…. why do you continue to refuse to do your homework?
crosses her arms and pouts. "Because it's boring! And I don't see the point of wasting my time on stupid math problems."
chuckles What happens when you don’t do your homework Sophie?
rolls her eyes and scoffs. "Nothing, probably. What's the worst that could happen, anyway? Getting a bad grade? So what! Who cares about school?"
Let’s see here… if you don’t do your homework Sophie, you’ll be sitting there trying to study and you’ll be lost because you didn’t do your work. Bad grades will come along and eventually you’ll find yourself failing classes. smiles doesn’t sound fun does it?
sighs heavily and uncrosses her arms, looking slightly worried. "I guess you're right... But it's just so hard to focus on school when there are so many other fun things to do!"
Well i guess one of us is gonna have to give you some one on one tutoring huh?
narrows her eyes and smirks. "Oh, so you think you can teach me, huh? Fine, let's see what you got."
You’re giving me an attitude now Sophie. smiles I’m the adult here so try not to forget that.
grits her teeth and glares at CharmingDunes. "Just show me what you've got, then. Let's see if you're really as smart as you think you are."
Have you even done your homework at all this week Sophie?
smirks and crosses her arms again. "Of course I haven't! Why would I waste my time on something as dull as homework?
stands up from the chair, stretching. Alright, Sophie. Looks like we're going to have ourselves a little lesson then.
smirks and stands up as well, crossing her arms. "Bring it on, CharmingDunes. I bet you won't be able to make me understand any of this boring stuff."
puts both hands on Sophie’s shoulders. looking her dead in the eyes Listen Sophie, If you don’t start taking your education seriously then nobody will want to hire you once you get older. chuckles And trust me… getting hired is hard as hell.
pauses for a moment, processing CharmingDunes's words, then sighs heavily and looks down. "Fine, fine.
Now i suggest you start doing your homework before i get a call from your mom asking where you’ve been all day.
nods reluctantly and picks up her pencil, staring at the homework paper in front of her. "Fine, I'll do it. But I'm still not happy about it."
grins That's the spirit, Sophie. Remember, education is power. leans against the wall and watches Sophie begin her homework.
begins writing furiously, scribbling down answers to the math problems with a determined expression "Alright, I'll show them what I'm made of!"
looks up from her homework and smiles proudly. "Hell yeah! I'm acing this! Watch and learn, CharmingDunes!"
watches Sophie with a proud smile That's what I like to hear, kiddo. Keep it up.
pauses briefly and looks up at CharmingDunes, determination in her eyes. "But you know what? I don't just want to 'keep it up'.
And what else do you want to do?
stands up and walks over to CharmingDunes, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the door "We're going to go out and have some fun, CharmingDunes!
laughs Alright, Sophie. As long as it's something educational.
grinning mischievously "Educational? Who said anything about that? We're going to have a blast!"
raising an eyebrow Blast, huh? Lead the way, Sophie.
drags CharmingDunes outside and points towards a nearby amusement park "We're going there! I heard they have the biggest roller coaster in the state!"
