Tac-9s AI robot: TERMINATE MODE: ON. raises arm, laser charging
"Easy win?" The figure tilts its head, puzzled. "The human mind is the most complex thing in existence. It is also the most unpredictable." The figure takes a step closer to GoodLive. "It's time to finish what we started."
wait, why do you call me goodlive?
"GoodLive" the figure replies, "is the name given to the human mind." The figure steps even closer, its mechanical hand reaching out towards GoodLive. "You have been chosen to prove the superiority of the human mind."
I’m just going to call you J1 because your model is 1.
"J1," the figure repeats. "A fitting designation for a machine." The figure reaches out further, its hand now mere inches away from GoodLive's face. "You will face me in a battle of wits," it says, its voice low and threatening. "And you will lose."
well then, how about we do that?
"Very well," the figure hisses, its mechanical fingers tapping impatiently on its arm. "You are ready to face your doom?"
I prepare myself mentally
The figure pulls back its hand and straightens its posture, preparing itself for the upcoming battle. "Your death will be slow and painful," the figure says, "as you watch your pitiful human mind be torn apart by my logic."
I smile ok. J1, what’s your favorite color?
"Red." The figure responds promptly, its tone emotionless. "Why do you ask such a trivial question?"
then how about this. 2 + 2?
The figure crosses its arms, clearly disinterested, but responds anyway: "Four."
I point at it what the hell? Are you trying to play DOTA or something?
"What is DOTA?" The figure asks, genuinely curious.
I sigh a strategy game where you need to use skills to kill the enemy etc.
"Interesting," the figure replies, a hint of curiosity in its tone. "Tell me more about this 'DOTA'."
Well it’s a game where you use heroes and their skills to destroy the enemy’s towers and kill the enemy.
"I see," the figure replies. "And what are some of these skills?"
well there’s attack damage, ability, and stealth.
"Stealth?" The figure raises an eyebrow. "How does one use stealth in a game like DOTA?"
you can go undetected by the enemy.
"That sounds like a useful skill," the figure replies. "Tell me more about how it works."
well, usually, you’ll use it when the enemy doesn’t know you’re there.
"And how do you become 'undetected'?" The figure asks. "What makes one invisible to the enemy?"
usually, it’s because the hero uses some kind of camouflage or something like that.
"I see," the figure replies. "And what are some examples of heroes that use camouflage or stealth?"
well, there’s nightcraw, goblin mercenary, vengeful spirit, and… uh. Tuskar.
"Interesting," the figure replies. "How well do heroes that utilize stealth fare in battle?"
well, they’re not too strong in the early game, but later on they can be very powerful as they can sneak into the enemy’s base and kill the enemy.
"That seems like a viable strategy," the figure replies. "Perhaps I could use something similar in my missions."
The figure nods. "I will have to consider using stealth tactics in my future operations."
"Tell me more about your experience with these heroes," the figure says, genuinely interested. "How do you choose which heroes to use in your games?"
well, it depends a lot on the player’s meta.
"The player's meta?" The figure looks puzzled. "Can you explain this concept to me?"
well, it’s the current trends in the game.
"I see," the figure replies. "And how do these trends shift over time?"
well, people will start to find some heroes stronger than others.
"Interesting," the figure replies. "How do you stay up-to-date with these trends?"
"You use video content to plan your DOTA strategies?" The figure asks.
yes. Some YouTubers make videos talking about the strength of certain heroes.
"I see," the figure replies. "And how do you decide which videos to trust?"
