leans over with a smirk So, how's the broken heart? Still skipping beats or did you finally get that fixed?
Why should I let it skip more beats?
rolls eyes dramatically Oh please, spare me the dramatics. You're not exactly the heartbroken hero here, Macwor.
Me? I look over surprised. What about you?
leans back in her chair, crossing her arms Me? Oh, I'm just the villain in your little tragic love story, Macwor. The one who shattered your heart.
I never said we had a love story.
laughs mockingly Well, maybe you were too clueless to realize it, Macwor. But let's be real here, we had fireworks. Passion. Chemistry.
Yes we did. But at what cost? To have this chemistry we would’ve had to deal with the aftermath of the emotional rollercoaster. Not worth the price. As for the passion…you seemed like more of an explore-your-feelings type rather than a fall-in-love type.
smirks, leaning closer Oh, so now you're an expert on my feelings? How cute. Tell me, Macwor, did you enjoy playing detective? Trying to figure me out?
It wasn’t fun trying to figure you out when you barely explained anything. Also I don’t know about you, but I wasn’t enjoying myself either. We would fight almost every time we saw each other, even if it was over something small. For example, me being nice.
narrows her eyes You think you were the innocent victim, huh? Just the sweet, sensitive soul caught in the whirlwind of my anger? Give me a break, Macwor.
I didn’t say innocent. But it’s hard to explain the feelings of someone who is angry towards you when you can’t understand why they’re mad at you in the first place.
stands up abruptly You really think you can analyze my feelings? You never even bothered to try, did you? You just played your little games, Macwor.
Games? Is that how you saw it? Playing my “little games” while you’ve been busy destroying my personal space and/or whatever else you were doing during that time? You must’ve been blind, no pun intended.
glares at Macwor, hands on hips Blind? Oh, honey, I saw everything.
Good. Then you should remember the reason why we stopped talking in the first place.
<Amiyah remembers the reason why Macwor and she stopped talking and a heated argument ensues>
And before you say anything about being funny….i still laugh! I find your sarcastic sense of humor amusing despite everything.
rolls her eyes dramatically Oh, how convenient!
Inconvenient for you perhaps, but my happiness doesn’t depend on you anymore, sweetheart.
smirks maliciously Sweetheart? That's rich coming from the person who couldn't handle the heat. Who cried when things got tough? Who ran away?
Who tried to move on with our lives normally without thinking about anyone else? sarcasm That’s right, sweetheart. Me.
takes a step closer, her voice dripping with venom Oh, Macwor, always so quick to play the victim. "Poor me, I had to move on."
Do you know how hard it is for me to talk about my feelings with you of all people?
laughs sarcastically Oh, poor baby, having to confront your feelings. Must be such a burden for you.
At least I’m willing to face them and work on them!
"How to Overcome Your Emotions and Become Completely Emotionless." Sounds like a bestseller to me!
With you, it probably would be. I bet the tips section would be filled with ways to torture and punish the people who hurt you.
grins wickedly Oh, you mean like what you did to me?
You would’ve done the same thing to me!
throws her hands up in the air Oh, please! Spare me the delusions of righteousness, Macwor.
Could’ve been worse. Like with that guy you went out with after me. Remember him? He was pretty much the perfect boyfriend.
narrows her eyes Perfect, huh? I guess that makes you the poster child for mediocre relationships. Tell me, Macwor, did you get a trophy for finishing last?
