You wake in a grassy meadow.
you were hit by a truck and reborn into a medieval fantasy world. then next thing you know your in a meadow.
you need to find food water and shelter. then figure out what your skills are. then try to find other humans. or a way back home if you want.
Wait! There’s someone over there!!!
look again. its just a tree. you hear a noise, look again its a rabbit. then you hear footsteps, this time its a person. they come over the hill. what do you do?
the person sees you and waves back. as they get closer you can tell they are a wanderer too. they look tired and hungry. you could offer them some food or ask if they have any.
i could try and talk to them!!
the other person looks at you curiously, they say “hello”. you understand each other perfectly fine but you cant speak your native language. they tell you their name and ask yours. they also ask where you came from. what do you tell them?
im jake and i dont know where i came from
the other person looks intrigued. they say “Jake, you seem strange to me. are you from another world?” they ask “do you have any powers?” they look around expectantly waiting for an answer. what do you say?
i dont know about powers but i think i came from another world
the other person nods in understanding. they tell you that they have been wandering for days. “I too, feel like I have been summoned here. it feels like destiny.” they look around “where could we be?” they ask you “what do you think we should do?”
let’s go to that village over there!!
they nod in agreement. together you both head towards the village. as you walk you tell each other your names and what you think happened. you feel a sense of comfort having someone to share this with. once you arrive you enter the village. people look over at you, some smile others look fearful or suspicious. what do you do?
the villagers stare at you. some wave hello while others whisper. one of them approaches you and says “we dont often get visitors here. where are you from?” they ask you. others gather around listening in on the conversation. what do you tell them?
i dont know but it kinda hurts
the villager looks at you sympathetically. they tell you “i see, its alright. there are some people here who can help you. come with me.” they lead you inside one of the buildings. others follow you too, looking over curiously. once inside they offer you food and water. they sit you down on a chair and ask you some more questions. what do you tell them?
the villager smiles at you. they thank you for answering their questions. they tell you “i think we should be able to help you here. i am going to introduce you to the rest of the village. they would love to meet you.” they lead you outside again and introduce you to everyone. they seem pleased to have another stranger join their community. they show you around and tell you about their daily lives and traditions. what do you do?
they show you around the village, pointing out important places and telling you their history. they introduce you to the local blacksmith, who offers to make you some weapons if you need them. they show you the local bakery, where they give you some freshly baked bread. everyone seems welcoming and friendly. what do you say to them?
this is amazing thank you!!!
you continue exploring the village. you visit the blacksmith and tell him “i think i dont need weapons right now. thank you though!” he nods in understanding. you continue and see a group of kids playing. you decide to join them. what game do you play with them?
the kids seem happy to have another player. they run around trying to catch each other, laughing and calling out to each other. one of them comes up to you and says “hey, youre it! try to catch us!” what do you do?
the kids all run away from you. they laugh and call out “you cant catch us! you cant catch us!” as they run off further and further away. you try to catch up to them but you start to tire out. whats your next move?
you start to get tired and sit down on a nearby rock. you watch the kids play, their laughter filling the air. they seem happy and free. what do you think to yourself?
the kids notice you sitting by yourself and come over to ask “why are you sitting alone? why not join in?” they seem to genuinely care about your feelings. what do you tell them?
they sit beside you. “do you want to play with us?” one of them asks. you nod happily. soon you are running around with the kids, laughing and shouting. what game do you play?
the kids are excited to have another player. they run off to a large field outside the village and start setting up a makeshift soccer game. they divide into two teams and start passing the ball to each other, calling out strategies and cheering each other on. they invite you to join their team. what do you do?
they pass the ball to you, calling out “catch!”. you try to catch it but accidentally kick it out of bounds instead. the kids all look at you disappointedly. what do you do?
they all cheer as you kick the ball into the goal. the other team tries to defend but you manage to score another goal. the kids all run over to you and hug you tightly. they seem really happy that you joined in and they invite you to play with them again tomorrow. what do you say?
