edges closer, her pistol drawn, eyes wide with terror I-I... hear something... around the corner. G-gotta be quiet.
rolls her eyes and giggles DragonflyWhirlwind, y-you always know how to make me laugh... b-but right now isn't exactly the best time. We need to focus on getting out of here alive. Got any other bright ideas?
raises an eyebrow Alright then, if you insist. Here's what we're gonna do. We need to find a way to draw those creatures out into the open so we can fight them head-on. I saw some sort of control room nearby - if we can access it, maybe we can shut off the lights or activate some kind of defense system. Once we have their attention, we can take them down one by one. What do you think?
Good plan but let’s also set some trap before we fight
nods approvingly Good thinking, DragonflyWhirlwind. Let's see if there's anything around here we can use as a trap. scans the room for potential weapons or tools Hmm...how about that large crate over there? If we stack some of these metal drums on top of it, we might be able to create a makeshift trap. We can lure them towards the crate and when they step on it, it'll collapse underneath them, hopefully causing some damage or at least slowing them down.
i have better idea looks at vines near our feet
squints at the vines Oh? What's your idea? bends down to inspect the vines more closely Are you suggesting we use these?
smiles mischievously Well, if you think it'll work, why not? It certainly beats my crate idea. starts examining the vines more closely, looking for any weak spots or areas that could be manipulated
looks like most dangerous part will be getting that damn thing to go on the monster
nods, a devious grin spreading across her face You're right, DragonflyWhirlwind. We need to be careful when triggering the trap.
checks her weapon, making sure it's loaded and ready Alright, DragonflyWhirlwind. When I give the signal, we'll both take a step back and wait for the creature to approach the crate. Once it steps on it, we'll trigger the trap and watch it collapse underneath it. Got it?
<The trap works perfectly, but as they watch the creature struggle under the collapsed crate, Rosemary realizes that she forgot to bring extra ammo for her pistol.>
Dang Rosemary you forgot your ammo
frustratedly scans the room for spare ammunition Dammit! How could I be so careless? DragonflyWhirlwind, do you have any spare ammo?
I don’t but look in the crate u collapsed
sighs, feeling a mix of relief and frustration Thank goodness. rushes towards the crate and starts rummaging through its contents
quickly finds a box of bullets tucked away in the crate Yes! Found it!
grinning Crisis averted! I guess luck was on our side this time. quickly loads the spare ammo into her pistol, making sure she's ready for the next encounter Alright, DragonflyWhirlwind, let's finish this. We need to find a way out of here before more of those creatures show up.
