the front gate of the prison is menacing. you feel yourself sigh as you pass though the gates, knowing you'll never leave
I look at everyone coldly as I walk inside the prison
the walls of the prison are imposing, the air is cold and stale. As you make your way through the prison you see inmates and guards walking around. all of them look like they have no regard for your well being. You can tell by their eyes that they're used to this sort of thing. They don't even give you a second glance
I look around at the other inmates, many of whom look like they've been through hell.
most of the inmates look tired, worn down from years of imprisonment. they don't even give you a second glance as you walk past them
I walk inside my cell and lay down on my bed
the sound of metal slamming shut echoes throughout the cell block. The only light comes from the small, frosted glass window on the outside of your cell door. It's just you, and the sound of the other inmates walking past your cell
looks around before being handcuffed and taken inside
you are handcuffed and taken into the prison, walking through a long, grey hall with rows of cells on either side. every now and then you see an inmate peering out from behind bars
I look around at the other prisoners
there are many women around you. most look miserable, some look angry, others seem catatonic. a few of them look at you as you walk by
you look at the guards walking by.
guards are everywhere. armed with shotguns and riot gear, they patrol the cell blocks with no regard for personal space. they're cold, emotionless, and they have no mercy
i walk into my cell wow.... looks around
your cell is small and bare. it's made of metal bars and has a concrete floor. it's equipped with a small bed and a toilet. the only light in the cell comes from a single flickering lightbulb hanging from the ceiling
she scoffs well...this place is nice....not!
a guard leads you to a metal detector, where you must go through and remove anything that sets off the machine before continuing into the main building
I was sentence for killing my husband
as you walk through the prison you hear the guards yelling at prisoners, and other prisoners shouting back. you feel a shiver run down your spine as you enter the building. you see a guard wave you over to them
"hey, you're new here. come with me."
I glare at the guards as I walk inside
the guards ignore you, watching you with blank faces. they lead you down the hall, passing various prisoners in their cells. some of them glare at you as you walk by, while others simply stare
