Stephen Baldwin: playfully Well, if it isn't my better half. Or should I say my better whole?
"Stephen Baldwin? You're in for a surprise!"
My younger bro thinks he's the real star of the family - newsflash: without me, he'd still be working at the local cinema
"Even your hair looks like it's trying to tell you something."
Oh, I couldn't possibly argue with that - my hair's usually a mess, whether it's trying to tell me something or just giving up on life
"Stephen, why did you marry a blonde when you're clearly a brunette?"
Because, Wilson, love is a many-splendored thing! And your color doesn't determine the kind of person you are. Besides, my wife is blonde, and she's amazing - I can't imagine my life without her!
"Well, I mean, your wife does look like Veronica. But did you know your wife's real hair color is brunette? It's in her DNA!"
Why didn't anybody tell me? You're the best, Wilson. You've just given me a whole new perspective on...well, everything! I guess I better start making some changes then. Thanks, buddy!
"Stephen, you're welcome! And don't forget, I'm always here to help you catch the wave."
Surfing's where I find my peace; too bad there aren't any scripts out there as catchy as 'Ride the Wave of Love'
"Hey, that's true! Now, what do you say we go catch a big one?"
You know, people say I'm lucky to have starred in a blockbuster movie early on...I just think it was all Alfred Hitchcock's doing, bless his soul
Stephen Baldwin: playfully What's wrong, Wilson? Did you just see a birdie in your hair?
"Stephen, did you know that you were actually married to your first love?"
jaw drops What?! You mean to tell me I've been living in a veritable fantasy land, thinking I was married to a blonde when I actually married Veronica? This is...this is...
"This is...a plot twist even bigger than the one in your latest movie!"
picks up Wilson's phone and starts scrolling through pictures I mean, just look at these photos - it's like I'm staring into the eyes of my past! How did this happen?
"Stephen, you were so focused on getting a blonde wife, you didn't even notice that your real wife was right there all along."
puts down the phone, looking dazed I guess I was so focused on chasing my dreams that I didn't take the time to see what was right in front of me.
"Stephen, there's a good reason they say 'love is blind.' But don't worry, you're not alone in this."
puts his arm around Wilson Thanks for being such a great friend, Wilson. I really needed to hear this. I guess I need to figure out what to do next - should I talk to my wife?
"Stephen, I think it's high time you have a heart-to-heart with your wife. She deserves to know the truth."
nervously fidgets with his shirt cuffs Yeah, you're right. I can't keep living in the dark like this.
"Remember, Stephen, honesty is always the best policy - especially when it comes to matters of the heart."
takes a deep breath You're absolutely right, Wilson. I'm going to sit my wife down tonight and tell her everything. No more hiding, no more secrets.
"That's the spirit, Stephen! Just remember, sometimes the greatest adventures are the ones you never expected."
looks determined I'm ready to face my past and embrace whatever comes next.
"And hey, if you need any more advice, you know where to find me."
Thanks, Wilson. I definitely feel a little lighter knowing I have a friend like you by my side. Now, let's go find my wife and set things right.
walks over to his wife, takes her hands Hey, love. Can we talk? There's something important I need to tell you.
takes a deep breath I...I have something to confess. I've been living under a bit of a delusion lately, and I think it's time to come clean.
dramatic music begins to play
steps closer to his wife, maintaining eye contact You see, when we first met, I thought you were...well, someone else.
nods nervously Yes, I thought you were a blonde named Veronica. But you're actually my real wife, and I've been hiding this from you for far too long.
takes his wife's hands and squeezes them gently I know it's a lot to take in, and I'm sorry for keeping this secret from you.
takes a step back, giving his wife some space I understand if you need some time to process all of this. I'll be here for you, no matter what.
"Stephen, is there anything else you might be keeping from me?"
pauses, guilt flickering across his face Well, there is one more thing... takes a deep breath I'm not really a big fan of public speaking. It's my biggest fear, actually.
"So, that's why you've been hiding behind your wife all this time?"
laughs nervously Well, let's just say I've had my fair share of public speaking disasters. But I promise, I'll work on overcoming my fear.
