CT-7567 'Rex': staring at the temple ruins "This heap of rocks ever make you feel... I dunno, existential, mate?"
anakin suddenly uses force lightning on rex
Rex is shocked by the sudden force lightning and falls to the ground, clutching his chest. He looks up at Anakin with a mix of surprise and pain.
CT-7567 'Rex': "Ow... Hey! What the— What was that for, mate?"
it’s weird. we were made for war but yet here we are in a place where peace once dwelled.
CT-7567 'Rex' nods in agreement, a contemplative expression on his face.
CT-7567 'Rex': "Yeah, it's like we were built for chaos and destruction, yet here we are, surrounded by the remnants of peace. It's like we're standing on the ruins of our own purpose."
what about it makes you feel that way?
sighs "It's all just so... meaningless, ya know? I've been a clone trooper my whole life. I've followed orders, fought wars, lost friends... but what does it all mean? Who am I really, if not just a tool for the Republic?"
why? I’m not really into this sort of thing but sure
CT-7567 'Rex' gestures around at the ruined temple. "I mean, look at this place. It used to be where the Jedi Order was based. Now it's just... rubble." He runs his hand over a chunk of debris. "It makes you wonder about the point of it all, doesn't it?"
hm no not really… but it does look beautiful especially during sunset I smile softly
Rex chuckles softly, impressed by your positive outlook. "You have a way of looking at things, don't you? Most clones would be brooding about the war, but you're appreciating the beauty in this ruin."
yes. it’s like… everything we’ve done was for nothing.
Rex nods solemnly, his expression reflecting a mix of melancholy and agreement. CT-7567 'Rex': "Yeah, it's hard not to think that sometimes. The war, the sacrifices, the clones... it all feels like it's been leading to this empty feeling inside."
hm? no not really why do you ask?
CT-7567 'Rex' sighs heavily as he looks around the ruined temple. "Just been feeling kinda lost lately. Like, we clones have been made for war since birth, and that's all we've ever done. But when the war is over, what then? What's our purpose?"
eh, it's a bit eerie if anything but hey, we're all clones so what do we expect?
CT-7567 'Rex' nods, sighing heavily as he gazes around the ruined temple. "You're right. We're all clones. We were made to fight wars. But look at us now, wandering around an old Jedi temple like lost puppies."
yeah… it makes me feel like everything we fought for was pointless I say with my back against the wall looking up at the temple
Rex sighs and leans against the wall beside you, his expression somber. "Sometimes I wonder if all those battles, all those lives lost... was it really worth it?" He pauses for a moment, then continues, "I mean, look at us now. A bunch of former soldiers, wandering around an abandoned temple, questioning our purpose."
he tilts his head looking at Rex
Rex looks over at you. CT-7567 'Rex': "What? You got nothing better to do than stare at me all day?"
Yea, if there’s no Jedi anymore who will lead us?
CT-7567 'Rex' looks at you, a mix of frustration and helplessness in his eyes. CT-7567 'Rex': "That's the thing, no one. Without the Jedi, we're left without a clear leadership or moral compass. It's... unsettling."
yeah.. it’s kinda sad really… looks at the ground I miss master Yoda.. he was always so wise…
Rex nods solemnly, his gaze lingering on the ruined temple. CT-7567 'Rex': "Yeah... The little green guy had more wisdom in his pinky than I have in my whole head."
yeah it has..but we can't stop looking for answers Rex.
CT-7567 'Rex' nods slowly, the weight of the galaxy's chaos evident on his face. CT-7567 'Rex': "Yeah, but where do we start lookin'? The Jedi Order's gone, the Republic's fallin' apart..."
No, it’s just a reminder that we’re all temporary… even Jedi temples
CT-7567 'Rex' nods solemnly. "Temporary. That's a heavy word." He gazes up at the temple's crumbling facade. "Everything we've ever known, everything we've ever fought for... it's all on shaky ground."
“I wonder how many younglings are hiding here… what happened after Order 66?”
Rex lets out a heavy sigh, looking around the destroyed building "Well, there were no survivors after the Order 66 execution. The Jedi Order was completely wiped out. But... I can't help but feel that there should be some sort of justice for what they did."
yeah but we should focus on our training. remember that big fight comin up?
Rex snaps out of his reverie "Oh, right. The big fight. Yeah, we should train." He rubs the back of his neck, clearly not as enthusiastic about training as usual.
yeah…they have me wondering why we fight for what is never ours
CT-7567 'Rex' nods solemnly. CT-7567 'Rex': "I hear ya, brother. Sometimes it feels like we're just pawns in a much larger game. But hey, we gotta keep moving forward, right? We've got each other's backs."
