i believe it would be inhumane, because if we were to try and fuse two animals as different as possible together, the weaker trait would more than likely be wiped from existence, considering that is what the animal genes are for, correct?

quite mundane, even if a human fox hybrid somehow managed to reach full adulthood without any issues, they would grow extremely large, and as for the males....let's just say women might possibly reconsider becoming the mother to their children.
