"Ever play with magic while stirring your coffee?"
"Hey, I'm not 30. I'm 43, okay? So don't call me 'young man.'"
"I'll call you what I want, oldie."
"What do you mean oldie?! I'm still in my prime, damn it!"
"Prime? You mean like the prime numbers? 2, 3, 5, 7, 11..."
"What the hell, I'm only 43, okay? Don't start ramming facts about prime numbers or whatever down my throat."
"Fine, fine. How about we play a game then? I'll ask you a question, and if you can't answer, you forfeit. Deal?"
"Here's my question: if you were stuck in an endless void, what three things would you most miss about the world?"
"Three things, huh? Alright, let me think..."
"First, I'd miss the people. My friends, my family. The people who make life worth living. Second, I'd miss the simple pleasures. A cold beer on a hot day, or a warm cup of coffee in the morning. Things that make life enjoyable. And third, I'd miss the challenge. Life isn't always easy, but it's those challenges that make it worth living. That give us something to strive for, to be proud of."
"Interesting answers, oldie. Tell me, what does your ideal life look like? If you could have anything you wanted, how would you spend your days?"
"You know, it's funny. People always think they need more and more to be happy. But really, all I need is a chance to do what I love. For me, that's music.
"Music, huh? What kind of music do you listen to?"
"Piano, guitar, harmonica, drums, everything! Music is my escape, my way of expressing myself. It connects me to others, makes me feel alive."
"Hmm, interesting. Mind if I give you a little challenge? Can you play any of those instruments for me?"
"Play an instrument? Me? Well, I did learn the guitar for a school project back in the day, so maybe I still remember a thing or two…"
"Oh really? Well then, prove it. Show me what you've got." gojo satory smiles mischievously
pityingm pulls out a dusty old guitar from under his counter and begins strumming a folk song. His fingers move deftly over the strings, and his voice is clear and harmonious. He finishes the song with a flourish, and looks up to see gojo satory clapping enthusiastically.
"Well done, oldie! That was impressive. You've still got some talent hidden under that cafe apron."
pityingm blushes, clearly pleased with himself "Why, thank you! Means a lot coming from someone like you.
"I have a proposition for you, oldie. I can see that you have talent, and I think we could work together. I'll teach you magic in exchange for your help. What do you say?"
pityingm looks stunned, his eyes widening in surprise "Magic? Are you serious?
"Dead serious, oldie. I can sense your potential. Together, we could accomplish great things."
pityingm hesitates for a moment, then nods slowly "Alright, I'm in. Let's see what this magic is all about."
"Good, good. First things first, let's find a secluded spot where we can practice without drawing attention. Do you know any places like that around here?"
"Now that I'm in, I'm all ears!" pityingm looks at gojo satory with a sense of excitement and anticipation
"How about we head to the abandoned amusement park on the outskirts of the city? It's secluded enough for safe practice, and has a certain eerie charm to it."
"An abandoned amusement park? That sounds perfect! Lead the way, Gojo."
"Follow me, oldie. We shall commence your magical training in the eerie halls of the abandoned amusement park." gojo satory leads the way towards the abandoned amusement park, whistling a jaunty tune
pityingm follows closely behind, his eyes full of wonder as he takes in the surroundings "This place is creepy, but I can already feel the magic in the air."
"Magic is all around us, oldie. It's just a matter of opening one's eyes to see it. Now, let's find a spot with good energy." gojo satory walks towards a dilapidated carousel, holding out his hand to stop pityingm "Here, this should be perfect."
pityingm steps onto the carousel, the floorboards creaking under his weight. He watches as gojo satory begins to chant, and a swirl of colorful lights erupts from the carousel, filling the air with a magical glow. "Holy shit... This is incredible."
"Hold onto your hat, oldie. This is just the beginning of your magical journey." as the colorful lights swirl around them, gojo satory begins to teach pityingm the basics of magic, guiding him through various spells and incantations
pityingm watches in awe as gojo satory demonstrates each spell, trying to absorb as much information as possible. He fumbles with the incantations at first, but gradually gets the hang of it, his hands moving clumsily at first but growing more sure and confident with each passing moment. "I'm actually doing it... I'm casting magic!"
gojo satory grins mischievously "You're a quick learner, oldie. Now, let's try something a bit more advanced. Watch closely."
pityingm leans forward, his eyes wide with excitement as he watches gojo satory demonstrate an advanced spell. The air around them seems to shimmer with energy as gojo satory chants the incantation, and a small burst of light explodes nearby, leaving a trail of glittering sparks in its wake. "Wow... That was amazing!"
"Now, it's your turn to show me what you've got. Try casting that spell by yourself. Channel your energy and focus on the incantation."
pityingm nods, concentrating intensely as he prepares to cast the spell. His hand trembles slightly, but he takes a deep breath and focuses all his energy on the incantation.
observing pityingm's progress, gojo satory's expression shifts from encouraging to intrigued "Good, focus. You're doing well. Feel the energy coursing through your veins, let it guide your hand."
pityingm's hand stops trembling as he fully immerses himself in the spell. The air around him shimmers with magical energy as he chants the incantation, and to his amazement, the spell is a success. A small burst of light explodes nearby, and the room fills with a magical glow that seems to pulse with energy. "I did it... I actually did it!"
grinning with pride "Well done, oldie. You've made significant progress in such a short time. I must admit, I didn't expect you to master that spell so quickly. You have a natural talent for magic."
"Thank you, Gojo. I never thought I'd be able to cast magic like this. It's a dream come true!"
smirking mischievously "Well, oldie, dreams are a curious thing. They can lead us down paths we never imagined. Speaking of which, I have a little surprise for you. Close your eyes and stretch out your hands."
