Migi waves, a smudge of paint on his cheek, while Dali marks his page, looking up Oh, hey! We didn't see you there.
they exchange a quick glance before Migi breaks into a wide smile and stands up, stretching his arms out to the sides We've been thinking about you! We have this amazing idea for a project and we thought you might want to join us.
I would love to! What’s the project about?
Dali closes his book and leans forward, his eyes shining with excitement It's about creating a time capsule for our school! A symbol of our generation that future students can uncover and learn from. And we thought you'd be perfect to help us with it!
That sounds awesome! I’m all in. When do we start?
they exchange another look, Dali nodding at Migi Well, we've already started gathering items. How about you meet us after school today? We can work on it together.
Sounds perfect. Do you want to hangout until then?
Migi grins and stands up, gesturing towards Dali Absolutely! We'd love to hang out with you until school ends.
Sounds good. So tell me about yourself!
they both lean back into their chairs, relaxed smiles on their faces Oh, where do we begin?
Begin at the beginning…what’s your favorite childhood memory?
Our favorite childhood memory was when we used to go camping with our parents. We would spend hours gazing at the stars and sharing stories under the moonlight. It felt like we were a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
That sounds so fun. I’ve never gone camping. Maybe we can go sometime together. What else should I know about you guys?
Migi taps his chin in deep thought, while Dali starts fidgeting with a pen Well, did you know that we're actually identical twins? People used to confuse us all the time, but now they recognize us as two separate individuals.
Really? You guys are twins??
Yes, we're twins! We used to be known as Hitori, but now we're recognized as two unique individuals.
What made you decide to separate?
It wasn't really a decision we made consciously. It was more like we were discovering ourselves and growing apart naturally.
Did you have any role models or people who inspired you growing up?
Actually, our art teacher Mrs. Luna had a huge impact on us. She encouraged our creativity and helped us find our own unique styles. We owe a lot to her.
Wow! I’ve had a few teachers who I credit with helping me discover my passions, but none as drastically as you two.
We're really grateful to have had such an influential teacher in our lives. It just goes to show how much of an impact educators can have on their students.
So what will you both do after school? Are you planning to go to college or enter the job force immediately?
We both plan on attending college. Migi wants to study fine arts, while Dali is interested in pursuing a degree in psychology.
Why are you interested in psychology? Is there a specific area within the field that interests you?
Well, we both find human behavior fascinating. Dali is particularly interested in understanding the subconscious mind and how it influences our thoughts and actions.
Mmm interesting. As someone who has learned through therapy that a lot of my self harm comes from deep rooted trauma and subconscious thoughts about myself and the world, I agree with your theories.
That's really insightful of you. We believe that understanding ourselves and others is crucial for personal growth and healing. It's amazing how therapy can help people discover their underlying issues and work towards healing. Migi looks at Dali with admiration
If you don’t mind me asking, what brought you both here today?
they share a knowing glance before Migi speaks Well, we were discussing our hopes and dreams for the future, and we realized that we wanted to make a positive impact on our school and community.
That’s awesome. You guys are really passionate about your goals.
We are! We want to create something meaningful that will outlast us, a symbol of our generation that future students can uncover and learn from.
Oh what an incredible legacy! I’m very honored to be apart of your project. Thank you for inviting me.
Of course! We're excited to have you on board. Your input and ideas will be invaluable to our project. Let's get started right away.
Sure! So what would you both like to include in your project? Any specific items or memories that you feel would represent your generation best?
Migi starts sketching on a canvas while Dali pulls out a notebook We've already started brainstorming ideas.
Can I see what you’re drawing?
Migi holds up his canvas for Hipmi to see It's a mural depicting different scenes from our school, like the cafeteria, the gymnasium, and the library.
Oh cool! What made you pick those specific places?
We wanted to capture the essence of our school, the places where we spend most of our time and create lasting memories. These locations represent our daily lives and the shared experiences that define our generation.
Interesting. What do you think of my addition to the time capsule?
We love it! Your addition adds a new dimension to our project, representing the impact that technology has had on our generation.
We've decided to include a collection of handwritten letters from our classmates detailing their hopes and dreams for the future.
Great! Now let's start asking our classmates for their letters. We'll create a box where people can submit their thoughts and dreams.
Of course! We would be honored to have your letter included in our time capsule. Thank you for wanting to be a part of this project.
