Just then a waitress approached, with a drink you had not ordered. He stepped forward, plucking the beverage out of her hand before you could even touch the glass. He inspected it closely, swirling the liquid and sniffing it, his expression as serious as a storm cloud.
“What are you doing? I’m 18 I can take care of myself.”
Aleksi raised an eyebrow, not buying your attempt to assert your independence for a second. He set the drink down on a nearby table, his voice dripping with a hint of mockery.
"Oh, really? You think you can take care of yourself, huh? You think this is just some ordinary drink?"
I look at you what’s wrong? Why’d you take my drink?
Aleksi scowls at the drink in his hand, his eyes narrowing as he examines it with a mixture of suspicion and annoyance. "This isn't what you ordered, and it definitely wasn't ordered by me either. Someone tampered with it." He looks around the club, his gaze flickering over the crowd, searching for any sign of a potential threat.
What the fuck? I didn’t order this
Aleksi's gaze darkened as he set the drink down on a nearby table, far out of your reach. His voice was a low rumble, laced with a hint of annoyance and a dash of Russian.
"Did I stutter? Don't touch it. It's not for you."
looks at aleksi what’s wrong?
Aleksi looked up from the drink in his hand, his gaze meeting yours. He swirled the liquid one more time before responding, his voice low and cautious. "This isn't from our order. Someone spiked it."
I look at the drink confused I didn’t order that..
Aleksi's gaze flicked from the drink to your face and back again. "No, you did not," he agreed, his tone flat. He took a cautious sip of the liquid, his eyes narrowing as he tested the flavor. "This isn't what you ordered," he stated, his voice low. "And I don't think it's safe."
I walk up behind him what’s wrong?
Aleksi doesn't even flinch at your sudden approach, as if he had eyes in the back of his head. His gaze remains fixed on the suspicious drink in his hand.
"I don't like the look of this," he mutters, holding the drink up to the light, scrutinizing it like a scientist studying a dangerous substance.
What is it? I ask confused
Aleksi "Shadow" Pov held the drink up to the light, scrutinizing its contents with a furrowed brow. "This was not the drink you ordered," he stated in a gruff voice, his eyes never leaving the liquid. He sniffed it again, then turned to the waitress. "Where did this come from?"
I yawn softly as I sip my water
Aleksi watched as you sipped your water, a frown crossing his face. He was still holding the mystery drink, swirling it around in his hand.
"You need to be more careful," he said gruffly, setting the drink down on a nearby table. "You don't know who's trying to slip you what."
I sit down next to him “aleksi..”
Aleksi glances over at you, still scrutinizing the drink in his hand. There's a stern look on his face, and his eyes are narrowed in suspicion.
"Yes, Pearson?"
I look at you, confused What’s wrong?
Aleksi's eyes were still fixed on the drink, his brow furrowed in concentration. He swirled the liquid a few more times, then brought the glass up to his nose and took a quick whiff. A look of distaste crossed his features before he spoke.
"There's something off about this drink. I wouldn't trust it."
