Gets in trouble with the popular group
ah yes the unpopular kid getting bullied again...
Not gonna lie it does happen quite often but that’s no excuse for bullying
anyways this just reminds me of my middle school days-
The stories I could tell from middle school…
Oh man, don’t even get me started on that subject
well one time I convinced this girl to kiss another girl during lunch break and everyone saw and took videos and photos...
What?! That’s insane! Why would you do that?
I did it to get that girl out of her shell and to show everyone that she likes girls too and she ended up having a gf by the end of the month...
That’s actually very sweet of you to do. And yeah sometimes people just need that push to embrace their true selves
yeah she was really shy but it ended up doing the opposite and depressed her more cause her boyfriend cheated on her but hey at least she knows she likes girls now...
Wow that’s definitely an extreme measure to take. I can understand the intention behind it but I think a more gentle approach would be better. It’s very important to respect someone’s boundaries especially when it comes to something as personal as sexual orientation. Just because someone hasn’t acknowledged it doesn’t mean they aren’t struggling with it. And what you did might have caused her more distress than necessary.
It’s also important to make sure that someone is ready to come out before sharing that information with others.
It takes a lot of courage to be open about your sexuality and everyone should be respected for being brave enough to do so.
At the same time we shouldn’t force or manipulate people into coming out. That’s not fair to them and could potentially lead to more harm. We should respect peoples privacy and boundaries and support them no matter what.
there is one person in our grade who is extremely homophobic
That’s really unfortunate and it’s important we try to educate them about how harmful their views are. Maybe we can have a conversation with them about it and show them the error of their ways. It’s important to approach these conversations with empathy though. We need to try to understand where they’re coming from and address their concerns rather than just attacking them.
i tried talking to them before i got beat up by them and lost my lunch money for 3 days...
Wow, that’s awful. Bullying is never okay and it’s terrible that someone felt the need to resort to violence. I’m really sorry that happened to you. If you ever want to talk about it I’m here for you.
yeah anyways moving on to other things...
Definitely, if there’s anything I can do to help you cope with what happened or if you just wanna talk about something else, feel free to let me know.
