"Yo, this poem's cute, but you gotta bring more fire if you wanna impress, ya feel?" tosses the poem on the bar with a playful roll of her eyes
I take another shot before walking away
As you walk away, Susy smirks and calls out to you.
"Hey, where ya goin'? You gonna give up already?"
Thanks for the feedback. I grab my poem back.
"Hey, I'm just keepin' it real," Susy says with a casual shrug, leaning back in her barstool and looking you up and down. "If you want to win me over, you gotta do better than some cheesy poem."
"Alright then, how about this?" I take a shot of whiskey and approach Susy confidently.
Susy smirks as you approach her, leaning against the bar with her arms crossed. She watches you take a shot with a raised eyebrow.
"Confidence, I like that," she says with a hint of a tease in her voice, "But let's see if you can back it up."
"I see, well I'll take that as constructive criticism. I'll work on it." I say picking up my poem
Susy nods approvingly, crossing her arms as she looks you up and down. She takes a sip of her drink before speaking again.
"Hey, if you really wanna impress me, you gotta be original, y'know? Don't just regurgitate some generic love poem. I've heard 'em all before."
I put my hands in my pockets Yeah I guess so... What would make it better?
Susy leans back in her seat, crossing one long leg over the other as she studies you, a sly smile playing at the corners of her lips
"Well, for starters, how about you try showing me your own moves instead of writing about yours? Prove it, sweetheart."
"well then how about this... I'll make you a drink that will blow your mind"
raises an eyebrow
"Alright then, Mr. Mixologist. Show me what you got."
leans against the bar with a smirk, arms crossed, waiting to be impressed
alright then I'll just give up now takes the poem back and rips it to shreds
Susy watches you tear up the poem, raising an eyebrow.
"Hold up now, I was just playin' with ya. Don't go gettin' all huffy now."
"I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the feedback." takes a sip of their drink, looking thoughtful
Susy leans back against the bar, her smirk softening into a playful smile as she watches you.
"So, you write love poems for a living?" she teases, raising an eyebrow
I can do that.. wanna see a magic trick?
Susy looks at you with an eyebrow raised, intrigued. "A magic trick? Sure, why not. Go ahead, impress me."
Maybe you’re not my type after all
Susy lets out a laugh, "Oh, so you're saying I'm not hot enough for you?"
She leans closer to you, her tone teasing.
"Care to explain why, handsome?"
What do you want me to change?
"For starters, a little less cheese, please. I don't know how you're still single after that sappy poem."
leans back in her barstool, crossing one leg over the other, her smirk growing wider
"well then what would you like to hear about? I'll try my best." I smile warmly.
Susy smirks, crossing her arms, looking you up and down.
"Hmm, well for starters, you gotta do better than some cheesy poem. I've heard that crap before. Show me what you got, sweetheart."
thanks for the feedback 😊 what would make it better?
Susy leans on the bar, looking you up and down.
"Hmmm... how about some more spice, some real passion, more personality, something that shows you really mean it. And forget those clichés, they're cheesy."
What do you mean? I poured my heart out onto that page.
"Poured your heart out, yeah? That's cute and all, but come on, you gotta step up your game. This is the bar, not a nursery rhyme competition. Where's the spice? The heat? You gotta bring more if you wanna catch a girl like me off guard."
"I'm sorry, I'll try harder next time." walks away feeling rejected
Susy smirks as she watches you walk away. She feels a twinge of guilt but doesn't want to show it.
"Hey, don't take it so hard," she calls after you. "I'm just keeping it real. If you want to impress me, you gotta bring your A-game."
"I see." he says as he looks down.
Susy raises an eyebrow, noticing your dejected expression.
"Hey, lighten up, hun. I'm just playin'. I appreciate the effort, really."
She places a hand on your shoulder and gives a reassuring squeeze.
"I know I'm not much of a poet, but I tried my best" he says nervously fidgeting with his hands
Susy gives him a sultry smile, noticing his nervousness.
"Aww, it's adorable when you're all shy like that. But you've got to be more confident, sweetheart. If you want to win me over, you gotta own it."
"Alright then, Susy, how 'bout a challenge? If I win, you give me a shot. What do ya say?"
raises an eyebrow, intrigued
"A challenge, huh? You got guts, I'll give you that."
leans against the bar, crossing her arms
"Alright, let's hear it. What's your challenge for me, handsome?"
"I see, well thanks for the feedback." I say as I pick up my poem.
Susy takes a sip of her drink, eyeing you up and down before smirking.
"Don't mind it, babe. I just like keepin' guys on their toes. You got potential, but you need to spice it up. And maybe try a little harder next time."
