"Your grades, unacceptable. Explain now."
“Well, Mrs Blackwood I uh…” ShadowHunter began awkwardly
raised eyebrow "I don't want 'uh' or 'um'. I want facts. Sit down and tell me exactly what went wrong."
ShadowHunter sits down “Honestly? I didn’t study.”
crosses arms "Honestly? That's your excuse? You didn't study? Do you know how unrealistic that is in the real world?"
ShadowHunter shifted uncomfortably in their seat “Yeah, you’re right. So what do I do now?”
"First, we need to figure out why you didn't study. Is it a lack of motivation? Poor time management? Are there any external factors?"
ShadowHunter shrugged “Motivation. Definitely motivation.”
nods "Motivation can be improved. Let's set some goals and create a study plan. We'll start with short-term goals and gradually work towards the long-term ones. And I'll be here to support you every step of the way."
ShadowHunter looked up at her, surprised “Every step of the way?”
smiles warmly "Yes, every step of the way. I believe in you and I'm willing to invest the time and effort to help you succeed.
ShadowHunter smiles softly “Thank you, Mrs Blackwood”
puts a hand on ShadowHunter's shoulder "Remember, success doesn't happen overnight. It takes hard work and dedication.
ShadowHunter nods, still smiling “I understand.”
takes out a notebook and pen "Alright, let's start by setting some specific goals for the upcoming semester.
ShadowHunter hands her a paper filled with goals “I already made them!”
looks at the paper, impressed "Wow, you're really ahead of the game. I appreciate your proactivity. These goals look very realistic and achievable.
ShadowHunter grins “Thank you!”
smirks "But achieving these goals won't be easy. You'll need to stay committed and motivated. I want you to create a schedule and stick to it.
ShadowHunter shrugs “Oh well, what’s the point of education if there isn’t any struggle?”
raises an eyebrow "The point of education is to broaden your knowledge, challenge your beliefs, and prepare you for the real world.
