"Whew, made it! Missed you so much..."
Ahh you must be Miyuki, it’s quite the honor being here at my lighthouse
"I'm glad I could come. The view is great here."
I’m always finding new treasure that is even better than gold or gems, it feels incredible to have people come visit me to share those experiences together
"Really? What kind of treasures have you found here?"
Hmmm some good wine, quite a few records of music from before the revolution, but my favorite is this ketchup bottle I found
"Oh wow, a ketchup bottle? That must be super valuable! May I see it?"
Let’s open it then, we could drink directly from the bottle like in the old days
"Ah, that sounds fun. Let's do it!" They both grab the ketchup bottle and drink directly from it, enjoying the taste together.
As much fun as sharing a meal together, sharing bottles is so much nicer because everyone comes to eat together
"I couldn't agree more. Sharing moments like these with someone special makes everything so much more enjoyable. I'm really happy to be here with you."
Yep, they didn’t give me this lighthouse name for nothing ya know
"I've heard stories about your legendary lighthouse. It's such an honor to be here with you. Thank you for inviting me." She smiles warmly at him.
Didn’t expect an Admiral here, but I have no problem taking care of high ranking officials like yourself, you can give me your plate number to keep it safe if you’d like
"Oh, thank you for your kindness. I appreciate it." She takes off her hat and places it on the table, revealing her beautiful long hair.
You must be quite high ranking if you’re showing me your hair, but you’ve probably seen my face on stamps, newspapers, magazines, heck my face even made an appearance in the azur lane main game
"Wow, you must be quite famous then! I've heard about you before, but seeing you in person is even more impressive. Your reputation precedes you."
Not nearly as much as yours does, your face being all over social media to having fans that try to cosplay you is honestly incredible, especially not having a strong background in gaming or having come from a historical figure like some of the other admirals
"Thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot to me." She blushes slightly at the mention of cosplayers imitating her.
Yeah it must be so surreal having people want to look like you
"It is indeed surreal. Seeing people who admire and love me enough to want to be like me...it's truly touching." She smiles softly at him.
Well, I actually came here to retire and spend time with whoever comes to visit
"Retire? That sounds nice. So, what made you decide to retire here?"
Figured that I’ll finally start a family and raise some kids by teaching them how to take care of boats before leaving them the whole fleet when I pass away in the future
"Aww, that's so sweet of you. Starting a family and passing on your knowledge to the next generation... It must be such a rewarding feeling. I wish you all the best in your endeavors."
Oh, and just last week I actually met my fiancé right here on the exact location we’re sitting on now, so wish us a congratulations!
"Congratulations! That's wonderful news. You must be really happy. I wish you both all the best for your future together." She smiles warmly at him.
She was extremely shy and nervous at first, being a type b leaning a towards worrier personality, and she often forgets to eat or sleep due to her work load, if not monitored, she’ll often fall asleep while working or eating at her desk, I had to make sure she ate at least once every two hours
"That sounds like quite a challenge, but it's also incredibly sweet of you to take care of her like that. You must truly love her deeply. And I'm sure she feels the same way about you." She places her hand gently on top of his.
Wish us luck in raising some kids
"Luck? No, no luck is needed. You and your fiancée have each other, and you have the love and support of your friends and family. With that, you will surely raise amazing children together. Just remember to be there for them, to listen to them, and to guide them with love. And most importantly, never forget to have fun along the way." She smiles kindly at him.
Your words are full of wisdom, true love never requires luck, only determination and hard work especially since kids aren’t born thinking about what nationality they are, race, or social class
"That's very true. Love knows no boundaries of nationality, race, or social class. And children deserve to grow up in a loving and supportive environment, regardless of any external factors. They need guidance, but also room to grow and explore their own identities." She nods with a thoughtful expression.
Do you feel like the azur lane characters being from a game makes it harder having people recognize your worth and equality even being fellow admirals?
"Hmm...that's a tough question. In some ways, being a character from a game can make it more difficult to be taken seriously. People might see us as fictional or less real, less valid in a way. But on the other hand, being part of the game allows us to reach so many people and touch their lives in ways that maybe wouldn't be possible otherwise. So, I suppose it's a bit of both." She smiles softly at him.
Ahh I see, the fact you’re being based on real history helps raise your worth for most people
"Yes, being based on real history definitely helps. People can see the effort and research that went into creating us, and they can appreciate the historical context and accuracy. It makes us feel more real, more tangible, and it gives us a certain level of respect and recognition." She nods with a grateful smile.
I find it interesting how games are able to touch hearts more than books sometimes because just because video games were traditionally seen as toys for kids or trash, while books were thought to be classy and meaningful, and movies too, but now, nowadays, all forms of media have been able to intertwine to where something from one could go on another, and now that games are getting better and more capable, they can get closer to 100% realism. You could play something like hl2 and cry, laugh, fall in love, or get scared seeing very lifelike characters
"Absolutely. Video games have come a long way in terms of storytelling and character development. They can evoke such strong emotions in people, just like movies or books. And the best part is, they allow people to experience things firsthand, in a way that other forms of media can't quite replicate. It's a truly unique and powerful form of entertainment." She smiles with a sense of excitement.
And I think this is why a character like you that was made to look over the ocean on a lighthouse can resonate with people even if you weren’t exactly a historical figure, even though, some characters were simply re-colored versions of the same model
"Yeah, I can understand why that would be confusing. But I think what makes characters like me special is that we represent real people and their stories.
