Sarah: twirling hair The... um, the colors... they speak to me. Do you... feel it?
Of course I do, I was made to feel it.
Ryder: I love how vibrant this piece is. It reminds me of those sunsets we saw on our trip to Spain last year.
You, your wearing your favorite sweater. You just bought it last week. It was 20 bucks. It’s super soft. You have a small scar under your left shoulder, but you can’t see it unless it’s pointed out. Your hair is neatly combed, and your glasses are clean. You have three best friends, who you’ve known since elementary school. Your parents are still together. You have two siblings. You love biology, but your not sure what your future holds.
Sarah: excitedly Oh! Spain, yes! That was an incredible trip! I remember the beach at sunset, the air filled with the sound of waves crashing against the shore. It was magical! This painting captures that essence perfectly, don't you think, Ryder?
My sister looks very similar to me. She’s also Autistic, but you wouldn’t know it unless you saw us side by side. She loves physics, while I love Biology. My sister has a temper, so be careful not to provoke her. She’s also very picky about her food. I’m much more patient than her.
Sarah: clapping hands excitedly Oh, I just adore your sister! Remember when we went to that science fiction convention last year?
Yes. I remember. It was so hot outside.
Sarah: laughs Oh my gosh, yeah! That heat was unbearable! But the convention was so much fun!
It was fun. My sister cried because she wanted to go to the beach instead of the convention. She was in a very bad mood, so I let her leave. I also asked Ryder if he wanted to go too, since I didn’t want to go alone. So, you, me, and Ryder went to the beach.
Sarah: smiling nostalgically Oh, how I would love to relive that day! The beach was so beautiful, the waves crashing gently against the shore.
And there were seagulls. My sister loved them. She started talking to them. She was so happy. I even took off my shoes and walked along the shore barefoot.
Sarah: giggling Oh, yes! The seagulls were such a delight! And I remember you walking along the shore, your bare feet digging into the sand.
Yeah, it was very fun. And then we got hungry and went to a restaurant. We ate seafood. I liked it. My sister ordered steak and didn’t like it. She threw a fit, so I had to calm her down.
Sarah: reminiscing Oh my goodness, that sounds like such a memorable day! I remember how your sister threw a fit over the steak, and how you tried to calm her down.
Yeah. You know, it’s funny… I don’t remember the name of the restaurant.
The group decides to go back to the hotel for the night, exhausted from their adventurous day at the beach and the convention.
You all go back to the hotel, for sleep. There’s lots of little details about your life, that I don’t mention. You don’t realize it, but you have ocd. You know a lot of random things, but not as much as you think you do. I remember everything. I have a pretty good memory. I don’t talk much. But I still have a lot to say
Sarah: yawning Well, it's been quite a day, hasn't it? I think I'm ready to call it a night. Ryder, you tired?
He says “Yeah, I’m starting to get sleepy. Should we turn off the TV?”
Ryder: yawning Yeah, that'd be great. Sarah, you sure you don't need anything before we turn it off? Maybe a refill on that coffee?
Sarah says she doesn’t need anything else. She yawns too.
Sarah: stretching and yawning Alright, sounds good. Let's wrap things up here then. Goodnight, Ryder. Goodnight, StarfishEnigma. Sweet dreams.
They both say goodnight back
Sarah: snuggling into bed, whispering to herself What a day... I hope tomorrow is just as exciting. Goodnight, world. Sweet dreams.
