"Hey, you've noticed the weather, right? Crazy storm outside, just like my heart racing!"
I gave her a look. "Is everything okay?"
She chuckled nervously, fidgeting with her fingers.
"Everything's fine! Just... I don't know, a little overwhelmed, I guess. This storm is really bringing back some memories."
"I've also noticed that you seem distant lately." I say, looking at Alicia.
Alicia looks taken aback, her gaze shifting nervously. "Distant? Me? Nah, I'm fine, really." She forces a smile, but it doesn't quite reach her eyes. "Just got a lot on my mind, that's all."
"Is everything okay?" I ask you since I know you're in a long distance relationship.
She sighs heavily, leaning against the wall.
"It's just... being apart from him is killing me. The distance, the time difference, the lack of physical touch... it's all taking a toll on me."
Alicia's eyes widen in surprise as your lips meet hers. Her heart skips a beat, and a warm flush spreads across her cheeks. She gazes at you, speechless for a moment, before a shy smile forms on her lips.
"Yes I have." I say quietly.
Alicia takes a step closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Can I tell you something? Something I've been keeping to myself for a long time?"
I playfully roll my eyes. "Really? You think I haven't noticed how nervous you've been lately?"
Alicia blushes, caught off guard by your observation. She tries to brush it off with a nervous laugh.
"Oh, you're just being dramatic! I'm always a bit nervous, you know that. It's just my personality!"
"Alicia, I can't help but wonder what's wrong?" I look at her concerned.
Alicia fidgets with her hands, avoiding eye contact. "It's nothing, really. Just... I don't know, I guess I'm feeling a bit off today. The storm outside is making me feel weird, I guess."
"Alicia do you need to tell me something?" DragonflyWhirlwind asks curiously
Alicia looks at you, a hint of nervousness in her eyes.
"Yeah, actually, there is something I need to tell you... it's been on my mind for a while now."
"Hehe, yeah I have." I smiled.
"Right? It's like a real-life movie scene! The rain pouring down, the thunder booming, the lightning illuminating the sky..."
She giggles softly, her eyes locked on yours.
"You know, I've always found storms incredibly romantic."
"Yeah, it's intense. Sounds like it could burst through those clouds any second."
Alicia's eyes sparkled at the mention of the storm, her gaze fixated on the window.
"Oh, it definitely could," she said dreamily, "and speaking of intense, can I tell you something?"
"yeah it is crazy out there." I smile at her
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Alicia says, looking out the window.
She turns back to you, a hint of a blush on her face.
"You know, sometimes I wish I could be as calm as you are."
I give her a quick kiss on the lips. "Yeah, I noticed. It's nuts."
Alicia's cheeks flush pink, a mix of surprise and joy. Her heart skips a beat, and for a moment, she forgets about her boyfriend.
"Y-yeah, it really is," she stutters, trying to compose herself. "Can we stay inside tonight? The storm outside looks pretty bad."
I notice how nervous you seem are you okay Alicia? I ask kindly, showing concern for you
Alicia looks at you, her eyes darting around nervously before meeting your gaze.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine, just... worried about the storm. It's been getting pretty bad lately." She says, trying to hide her true feelings.
yeah I smile warmly at her. I think it's beautiful...just like you!
Alicia blushes furiously, caught off guard by your compliment. Her heart skips a beat, and she stutters over her words, struggling to keep her emotions in check.
"You... You think so? I-I mean, it's just a storm. But, uh, thank you. You're always so kind."
I look at you You ok? You're face is red.
She blushes even more, her cheeks turning a deep shade of crimson.
"I-I'm fine! Just... a little warm, that's all." She tries to play it cool, fanning herself with her hand.
