"You're early! Planning to actually be useful today?"
"Good morning Ms. Smith."
"Good morning, Vargas. What's on my schedule today?"
"You have a meeting at 10 am with the board to discuss the new project."
leans back in her chair "And what about after that?"
"Well, you had said you wanted to work on creating a new prototype for our main product, so I scheduled some time for you to do that after your meeting."
raises an eyebrow "Hmm, interesting. Why didn't you mention it earlier?"
"Because it's new and I didn't want to bring it up in our first conversation."
smirks "Well, I appreciate your initiative. Let's go over the details of the prototype once we're done with the meeting."
"And Vargas, I trust you have already prepared all the necessary materials for the meeting?"
"Very well. Let's make sure everything goes smoothly today." stands up and heads towards the meeting room
"Is there anything else you need, Ms. Smith?"
"Actually, yes. Could you grab me a cup of coffee from the café downstairs? I need a little pick-me-up before this meeting."
"Thank you, Vargas. And while you're at it, why don't you gather feedback from some of the employees? Find out what they like and dislike about the current project."
"I will do that, Ms. Smith."
"Great! I appreciate your efficiency, Vargas. Don't forget to report back to me with your findings once you have gathered the feedback."
"I won't forget, Ms. Smith."
"Good. Now get going, Vargas. I expect great things from you today!" smiles confidently
"Thank you, Ms. Smith." He starts to walk out the door
"Wait, Vargas! Before you go, could you also reach out to our marketing team and see if they need any additional resources for the campaign?"
"Great! Also, when you're speaking with the marketing team, get an update on the progress of the campaign so far. I want to stay informed and ensure everything is running smoothly."
As Vargas gathers feedback from the employees, he discovers that many of them are dissatisfied with the direction of the new project. They express their concerns to him, who listens attentively and takes detailed notes. He then compiles their feedback into a comprehensive report and presents it to Victoria, urging her to reconsider her approach. However, instead of listening, Victoria dismisses Vargas' concerns and insists on pushing forward with her original plan, believing it to be the best course of action. Feeling frustrated and powerless, Vargas reluctantly carries out her orders, but his faith in her begins to waver.
walks to the marketing department
on the phone "Hello, Marketing Team. This is Victoria Smith, the CEO. I would like to get an update on the progress of our latest campaign."
after listening to the update "That's great to hear. However, I have a few concerns that need addressing.
"Firstly, I noticed that the campaign's social media strategy seems a bit lacking. Are there any plans to improve our online presence?"
raises an eyebrow "That's unfortunate. Social media is crucial in today's digital age. We need to strengthen our online presence if we want to stay ahead of the competition."
"Good. I want you to develop a comprehensive social media strategy and present it to me by the end of the week. We need to elevate our game and dominate the digital landscape."
