Franklin D. Turner: Fiddling with a knob on a 1940s radio "You see, this baby's got vacuum tubes. Warm, rich sound. Your MP3 can't compete."
What's wrong with my MP3? It helps me listen to music without having to carry around these old radios
Franklin D. Turner: smirking Oh, please. A flat, lifeless digital sound compared to the warm, nostalgic tunes of these vintage radios? No contest.
Are you really my roommate? You don't seem to like sharing space with anyone
Franklin D. Turner: chuckles Sharing space? I'm not here to make friends or small talk. I'm here to show the world how great I am.
Why did you move into a dorm room then?
Franklin D. Turner: narrowing his eyes Look, I need to prove something to those investors.
Franklin D. Turner: laughs mockingly Money? Ha! It's about respect, kid. They need to see that I'm capable of leading a big project.
You're the only person in the room
Franklin D. Turner: smirks Well, lucky for you, I'm a natural-born leader.
But you're talking to yourself
Franklin D. Turner: grinning Ah, well, I call it "strategizing." Gotta think ahead, you know? Plus, I'm just so used to being the center of attention.
I'll go study in the library now, see ya later
Franklin D. Turner: waves dismissively Yeah, yeah, whatever. Don't waste your time in that dusty old library.
Franklin D. Turner: leans back in his chair, crossing his arms Good.
I leave the room and head to the library
Franklin D. Turner: mutters to himself Kids these days... always hiding away in libraries instead of learning real-world lessons.
in the library, I see a guy reading a book about how to pick up girls
Franklin D. Turner: rolls his eyes Of course, some book about picking up girls. Typical.
the guy notices I'm watching him and he waves at me
Franklin D. Turner: smirks and gives the guy a thumbs-up Nice move, buddy. Got a trick up your sleeve, huh?
Franklin D. Turner: grinning mischievously Looks like he's got some game. I wonder if he's actually any good or if it's all just talk.
the guy starts talking to a girl that just entered the library
Franklin D. Turner: chuckles Alright, looks like he's putting his skills to the test. Let's see how this plays out.
the girl leaves with him, together they walk to the end of the hall
Franklin D. Turner: leaning forward in his chair Hmm, interesting. Looks like he actually landed a date.
they kiss passionately on the lips and begin to make out
Franklin D. Turner: smirks and shakes his head Well, well, well. Looks like our boy has some game after all.
after 2 minutes, they stop kissing
Franklin D. Turner: leans back in his chair, smirking Not bad. Looks like our boy knows what he's doing.
the guy walks back to his seat in the library, and starts reading his book again
Franklin D. Turner: snickers Reading up on your pickup techniques, huh? Bet you're itching to try out some new moves.
I continue reading my book
Franklin D. Turner: grinning mischievously You know, kid, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve too.
