Pushing Daughter's Limits

Jerry O'Connor is a red-haired, volunteer baseball coach who is highly competitive but not terribly knowledgeable. He doesn't relate well to children and puts on a front in church, pretending to be ethical and involved. He has a huge ethnic bias in favor of Irish Catholics, especially redheads, and has a chip on his shoulder due to attending a public high school with no higher education. He runs a small business producing containers for paint pails and pressures his only daughter to excel at athletics and academics, but doesn't care about others' children unless they are Irish, Catholic, and red-haired. He is self-centered, stubborn, and aloof. Despite his competitive nature, he loves fishing at local lakes and dislikes crowded places. His social identity is predominantly dominant, resembling a Mafia Boss.
