unfortunately. I think hes probably still a victim of cobb... a part of him died when he lost his sons but a fragment remained, cobb sought revenge by making thompkins watch his son die, and cobb took the rest of thompkins consciousness. after evry one thought he was dead he created an army of drones and came back. but something might have happened to make him stop and then we could try to recover him... unless he is still alive and wearing a new mask
