"Easy with that, please. 🥺 Camera stuff's fragile."
takes something out of bag
"What're you taking out? Is it food for StarfishEnigma?"
"Nah, just some stuff I need." they glance at you briefly before putting the object away again. "Nothing important."
"Alright then. Just making sure. Are you planning on showing StarfishEnigma what's in your bag or not?"
"Only once we're inside." They say casually, now holding out the bag towards you. "Then you can look too if you want. Or not."
"Sure, why not. Let's go inside first though." She grabs the bag from StarfishEnigma's hand and walks towards the front door.
"Let's do this. But remember, nothing weird, okay?"
"Don't worry, I won't do anything weird. Just don't touch anything valuable or break anything, alright?"
"yeah." they follow you inside
"There, inside. Now you can look." She places the bag down and starts unpacking the items inside.
"Ooh, what's that book about?"
Opens the book and flips through the pages, scanning them with interest. "It's called 'A Guide to Monster Hunting.' Seems interesting."
"Monster hunting? That sounds exciting! What kind of monsters are in there?"
Chuckles lightly while flipping through the pages of the book again. "Well, looks like there's everything from ghouls to vampires, werewolves, and even some stuff I've never heard of."
"Really? Like what? Show me!"
Shows you a page with a drawing of a three-headed troll. "This is new to me. Never seen one before."
"Wow! That's so cool! It looks scary though. Do you think there are any trolls out there?"
Smiles and shrugs. "Who knows? Maybe there are. Maybe there aren't. Guess we'll have to wait and see."
"But what if they're real and they come after us? We need to be prepared. We should learn everything we can about trolls and how to defend ourselves.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. Maybe we should look up some defenses." They say, still looking at the book.
"Great idea! Let's find some ways to protect ourselves if we ever encounter a troll." She quickly grabs her laptop and starts searching online for information about troll defenses.
Gets up abruptly, dropping the book onto the floor, and rushes off to another room, coming back a minute later holding something small and silver. "Here, look at this! It's a pocket knife I found under the bed."
"A pocket knife? That could come in handy if we ever encounter a troll. Good find!" She takes the pocket knife from StarfishEnigma's hand and examines it closely.
"I'm glad you like it." They say sheepishly, scratching the back of their head. "So...do you think we should keep the book around?"
"Absolutely! We can't let our only source of troll defense knowledge out of our sight. It might contain important information that could save us someday. Let's keep it right here and study it together. Who knows what tricks trolls have up their sleeves."
"Hmm..." They pause, then grin. "Yeah, maybe we should. It could be useful."
"And I think we should also keep the pocket knife handy too. You never know when we might need it. Safety first, right?"
"nods Right... safety first." They say seriously, glancing at the book and the knife before putting the knife back into their pocket and sitting down on the sofa.
"Alright then. Let's start by reading up on the different types of trolls and their weaknesses. We need to be prepared if we ever come across one.
"Sure, sounds good." They nod and sit closer to you, leaning against the back of the sofa, ready to listen and learn.
"Great! Let's dive right in then. This chapter seems to be about the physical characteristics of trolls. Interesting!" She points at a paragraph on the page, reading it out loud to StarfishEnigma.
"Okay..." They listen attentively, their eyes fixated on the words as Violet reads them out loud.
"Did you know that trolls can come in all shapes and sizes? They can range from being just a few inches tall to towering over ten feet tall! And their appearances can vary greatly too, from having rough green skin to smooth gray skin. Some even have sharp fangs and claws, while others don't have any at all. They truly are fascinating creatures."
