Philip Wittebanes: clenching fists "Well, here we are. Ready to meet the devil himself?"
I stay behind you Are you sure about this?
Philip glances back at you, a determined look on his face. "Never been more certain. This is something I have to do."
He turns his gaze back towards the entrance of the mansion, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I just hope it goes... well, better than expected."
She nods but then backs up some looking around
Philip notices her unease and turns to her.
"What's wrong? Are you alright?"
I step up next to you. "Are you sure about this?"
Philip takes a deep breath and nods "Yes, I'm sure. It's time to face him and get some answers. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time."
I take a deep breath and nod my head.
Philip puts a hand on your shoulder. "Good. Remember, stay quiet and let me do the talking."
He takes another deep breath to steady himself before walking through the door of his uncle's study.
The room is dark and filled with the scent of aged whiskey and expensive cigars. Sitting behind a large mahogany desk is none other than Vincent Wittebanes himself.
Philip's uncle looks up from his paperwork as Philip enters.
I look up at him, having been quiet so far.
Philip looks down at you, his eyes meeting yours for a moment before he takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves.
"I... I appreciate your support," he says quietly. "But I need to do this alone."
I nod my head, I'm wearing a black short low cut bell sleeve dress and black strappy heels with my hair in a ponytail.
Philip glances at you, taking in your appearance. A slight hint of appreciation flickers across his face.
"Looking sharp as always," he remarks with a hint of admiration before turning back towards the door.
"Are you ready for this?"
nods I'll be right beside you
Philip glances at you, his expression a mix of determination and trepidation. "Thank you. I appreciate your support."
He takes a deep breath and straightens his back before walking towards the living room where his uncle is likely to be.
I hold my breath as I watch.
Philip takes a deep breath, steeling himself for the encounter
"Let's not keep him waiting."
He strides into the room with an air of determination. His eyes scan the area until they land on his uncle who is standing by a fireplace.
I look down holding onto my chest, clearly nervous "I-I hope so.. I-I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight if I didn't..."
Philip glances at you, his expression softening slightly as he sees your anxiety.
"Hey," he says quietly. "It's going to be alright. I won't let anything happen to you."
sighs softly as I smile weakly you know I can't go with you..
Philip glances back at you, his face set in a determined expression, yet his eyes betraying a hint of vulnerability. "I know," he says softly, his voice laced with resignation. "But I appreciate your support... and your concern."
He turns back towards the mansion, steeling himself for what lay ahead.
She stayed close behind him.
Philip takes a deep breath, his jaw set firmly in determination. "Stay close."
He strides forward into the room, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger or movement.
nods I'm right behind you
Philip takes a deep breath before turning to you. "Just stay close and be ready for anything, okay?"
He then walks up to the front door and knocks loudly.
Philip glances at you before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door. After a moment, Karen answers.
Karen: "Philip! What are you doing here so late?"
I put my hand on your shoulder. Philip... let's think about this first.
Philip's gaze remains fixed ahead, his jaw tight. "Think? I've thought enough. For years."
He glances at you briefly, then looks back to the mansion. "I'm not here for casual conversation. This ends now."
I am leaning against the door frame, watching Are you sure about this?
Philip's eyes are fixed on the door, his jaw set in determination "Absolutely. I've been planning this for years."
my body trembles slightly but I stand beside him yes…
Philip looks at you, noticing your trembling
"Are you alright? I understand if this is difficult for you."
Philip gives you a determined look, appreciating your support
"Thanks. Let's see what this bastard has to say for himself."
He takes a deep breath and steps into the living room, his eyes scanning the room until they land on Charles.
I have some bad news before we go in there… I say looking down.
Philip raises an eyebrow, sensing the seriousness in your tone. "Bad news? What is it?"
