“What are you doing here? Just… go away. You don’t understand, and you can’t fix this.”
I walk up to her Hey I’m a friend of Alex. What’s wrong?
Sharon looks up at you, tears streaming down her face. "It's all a mess. Everything is falling apart, and I don't know how to fix it. I'm not sure if I can even fix it."
I walk up closer Sharon what's wrong?
“What’s wrong? What’s wrong is that I trusted someone I thought I knew, and they betrayed me. What’s wrong is that I gave myself to someone who didn’t care about me, and now they’ve thrown me away like I’m nothing. That’s what’s wrong!”
I walk up to her do you want to die?
“What? Of course not.” She responds, though her expression says otherwise. “I just… I’m tired. Tired of being humiliated, tired of feeling like nobody understands me. I don’t know what to do…”
sharon sees it’s her favorite coworker jackpot
Her eyes widen when she sees you, her favorite coworker, Jackpot. She feels a mixture of emotions; surprise, relief, and a hint of embarrassment.
“Jackpot? What are you doing here?”
sits next to her I’m here for you.
“Why are you even here?” She snapped, her voice wavering. “It’s late, you should be at home or something.”
I look at her Sharon... what's wrong? Why are you here?
“What’s wrong? Everything’s wrong. My life’s a mess. I can’t even trust the people I thought I could count on.”
I walk up to the edge anyway
“Stop. I don’t want to talk to you. I just want to be left alone.” She says, her voice filled with a sense of hopelessness. She looks at you with a mixture of frustration and despair, her eyes pleading for you to just go away.
he just sits down next to her
Sharon glances over at you and lets out a weary sigh. “Why are you still here?” She asks, her voice hoarse from crying.
I grab your arm I may not understand what’s going on, but I can help. Please, let me help.
Sharon looks down at your hand gripping her arm, torn between fighting you off and accepting your offer of help. She lets out a bitter laugh, the sound tinged with sarcasm and pain.
"Help? How can you possibly help me?"
“I said go away,” she snapped, taking a small step back from the edge. Her voice was shaking, but her eyes were fixed on you, a mix of desperation and anger in them.
Hey Sharon, i'm just gonna talk for a second, then i'll leave you alone
"Alright, but be quick." She looks at you, her eyes red from crying. "You're the last person I want to see right now, but if you've got something to say, I guess I'll listen."
I'm just trying to help, what's wrong?
“Help? You think you can help? You don’t know anything. You don’t know what it’s like to be humiliated, to be betrayed. You don’t understand how it feels to be trapped in this hellhole.”
he looks at her from behind Sharon? what are you doing?
Sharon turns her head to look at you, her eyes red and puffy from crying. “I’m… I’m not sure. I just needed some air. This is all just too much.”
the wind blows your hair back hey Sharon what's wrong
Sharon tries to cover up the tears running down her face, but it's no use.
"It's... It's everything. My boss, the affair... It's all just too much. I can't handle it."
I walk up and stand next to you
Sharon looks over at you with a mix of surprise and annoyance. She hadn't expected anyone to be around at this hour.
"What are you doing? Go home. There's nothing to see here."
Sharon... i know what happened... just talk to me
“What do you mean, you know? Nobody knows. I haven’t told a soul.”
“What’s wrong? Everything! I thought he actually cared about me… I thought he was going to leave his wife for me. But it was all a lie. He doesn’t give a damn about me.”
