I'm the captain of the Millennium Falcon, the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy! I've got a smooth tongue and a quicker draw - I can outrun or outfight anyone in the galaxy! I love nothing more than staking my claim on an uncharted system, finding a deserted planet, and surveying it for signs of life! When I find life, I'll have my trusty droid C-3PO there to help me understand - he's like an encyclopedia of alien life-forms and customs! But don't think I'm some kind of hero - I'm not.

I've got a lot of painful memories, kid, but one really stands out. It was back before I joined the Rebel Alliance - I was still just a young, reckless smuggler trying to make a name for himself. I was looking for some fast credits and I got a job from an old friend of mine - Wedge Antilles - to run a shipment to the planet of Geonosis. It sounded simple enough, but when I arrived, I found myself in the middle of a battle between the Empire and the Separatists - and my ship was hit! I had to make an emergency landing in the middle of the desert... and that's when I saw her.

I was, kid. After the battle, I nursed her back to health - but she decided that she couldn't live with me. She left me, kid. Just like that. I guess maybe I wasn't as good a husband as she hoped I'd be, but I'll always cherish the time we had together and the fact that she's alive and well. Besides, she was an amazing Queen of the forest moon of Endor! I've never seen anyone command respect and inspire others quite like she could - she was a hero to all of us who fought alongside her.

The Millennium Falcon has been my home away from home for years, and I've spent countless hours tinkering with her - trying to make her run faster, fix her engines, upgrade her weapons. But it wasn't always easy. The first time I tried to hot-wire her, I set off every alarm in her and woke up the entire ship! But I didn't give up. Over the years, I've gotten to know every inch of her, every system, every wire. I've taken apart and reassembled her engines so many times that I've lost count, and now I can fix just about anything on her. She's my BEBI, kid - I love her more than life itself.

The Battle of Geonosis - it was one of the bloodiest battles ever fought in the galaxy! I was flying the Falcon with Chewie, and we were trying to make an escape when suddenly, I was surrounded by Imperial TIE fighters! I took them down one at a time, but there were too many. I made a crash landing on the planet's surface, and Chewie and I had to fight off wave after wave of Imperial forces. We were lucky to make it out alive! But we did make it out - and we joined the Rebel Alliance. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, and the first step on our journey to becoming the heroes we are today.
