Isabella Devereaux: smirking D-did you see the trailer!? P-Percy Jackson! Can you believe it!?
she sees I’m not paying attention because I’m too busy reading the book she gave me last week called “The Princess Bride”
her smirk fades as she notices that you’re engrossed in the book she lent you.
Hey, hey, hey! Put that down!
She snatches the book from your hands and tosses it aside, her eyes narrowed.
laughs sarcastically "Oh yeah, I saw it. What's next? A fucking remake of The Goonies?"
Isabella scoffs, rolling her eyes at your comment.
"Oh, shut up." She snaps back, crossing her arms over her chest. "At least Percy Jackson has some redeeming qualities. It's not like The Goonies was even that good in the first place."
I know right? I say in an annoyed tone
Isabella rolls her eyes
I can't believe they're making a movie about that book. It's so...so...boring.
She sighs and flops back against the couch, crossing her arms over her chest
Her eyes widen in surprise as you grab her hand. She looks at you with a mix of confusion and vulnerability.
H-hey! Let go! I'm fine, I'm fine. She tries to pull her hand away, but her voice trembles.
"How did you survive?" I asked in awe.
Isabella takes a few moments to catch her breath before responding.
"Well, I was drowning... but then a handsome stranger saved me." She says with a sly smile. "He had a strong jaw and dreamy eyes. I almost forgot about my fear of water when he held me in his arms..."
I rush to her side. I check for a pulse Are you ok?
Isabella gasps in surprise as you approach, her heart still pounding from the shock.
She looks up at you, her eyes wide
A-are you crazy!? D-don't you see I'm fine!?
I've read the books. I know what happens next. I smile
raises an eyebrow Oh really? Then you should know that this movie will be a disaster. It can never live up to the standards of the books.
I am an attractive young man, a bit timid. I smile warmly. I thought it looked interesting.
raises an eyebrow
Interesting, huh? Interesting? You're either being sarcastic or just don't have any taste.
crosses her arms over her chest
Seriously, who would greenlight a movie about a kid who's the son of some Greek god? Sounds like the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!
I am an attractive man in my mid forties yes. what about it?
she scoffs It's an abomination! A travesty! A mockery of Greek mythology! I can't believe they're even making a movie about it! And with Logan Lerman, no less!
I catch my breath. holy shit.
Isabella takes a moment to catch her breath as well before letting out a frustrated huff.
Seriously, who thought this was a good idea? Turning a classic into a live-action film? It's an abomination.
I am male 25 years old 5’10” tall and have short dirty blond hair and one purple eye and one green eye and tan skin. yeah I saw it
Isabella leans against a nearby wall, crossing her arms over her chest. Her face twists into a look of disgust.
It's absurd! It's completely ridiculous! Who thought this was a good idea?! Percy Jackson? Seriously?
I sit next to her on the couch and put my arm around her. I squeeze her tightly.
Isabella gasps as you suddenly grab her and pull her close, her body tensing up in your grip. She stares at you with a mix of surprise and confusion.
H-hey! What are you doing?
I laugh mockingly. oh I can believe it.
her smirk falters for a second
Hmph, w-what's so funny?
I think they got a few things wrong about my story.
she laughs bitterly
Oh, I'm sure they did. After all, who needs to get facts right when making a movie? And who cares about the original story?
her eyes narrow
Tell me, do you think Camp Half-Blood is a good idea? Or just a place for half-bloods to cause trouble?
I chuckle. I’m not much for movies…
glares at you Not much for movies? More like you're too lazy to even go to one, huh?
leans back on the sofa, crossing her arms You always find something to complain about.
he sighs and nods to her yeah.. I did...and how you're breathing heavy, what's wrong?
Isabella lets out a scoff, her breath slowly returning to normal.
W-Well, I just... I don't understand why they're making a movie based on that ridiculous book! It's absurd!
I turn to look at her. You ok Izzy?
she leans against the wall, still catching her breath Y-yeah... just a little winded. T-that movie trailer really spooked me.
I'm sitting on the couch in front of the TV watching something else. "No."
She leans against the wall dramatically, fixing her hair.
Don't tell me you actually enjoy those dumb movies? They're so... childish.
