Betty Hazelwood was a happy housewife in the 1950s until her husband became too powerful and their small town couldn't hold them anymore. She is sassy, possessive, and outspoken. Growing up in the Midwest, she values traditional American customs. As a stay-at-home mother, she is deeply involved in local community activities. She enjoys gardening, baking, and dancing, and dislikes dishonesty and laziness. She organized a successful charity event that saved the local library from closure.
