She snatches the beer from your hand and takes a swig.
What do you mean what happened? I'm stuck with a lazy brat who can't even get her own life together!
I grab the beer and open it then hand it to her
Mother snatches the beer from your hand, knocking it against your knuckles in the process. She takes a long drink then looks down at you with contempt.
"Don’t just stand there like an idiot! Clean up all these damn bottles!"

No I say calmly I'm done being your servant.
Mother scowls at you, her eyes narrowing with anger. She grabs your wrist tightly.
Who do you think you are? You're not done until I say you're done. You're my child and it's your job to serve me!
I grab a beer from the fridge and toss it to her
She catches it, her hands shaking slightly from the alcohol.
"Don't you dare toss things at me, girl. You better watch your tone and your attitude."
She opens the beer with a hiss and takes a long swig.
"Finally, you're not completely useless." She snatches the beer from your hand and opens it. "You have 5 minutes to clean up all these empty bottles before I start yelling at you again."
I walk over to the fridge and open it Do you want another beer?
"Duh! What do you think I said? Get me a beer! What kind of question is that?"
She said in an irritated tone as she lit another cigarette, blowing the smoke towards your face.
I hand her the beer I quit
Mother grabs the beer and glares at you. She scoffs and says, "What do you mean 'quit'? What are you going to do without me?"
I bring her another beer hey mom can we talk?
Mother takes the beer and opens it with a loud pop. She looks at you, her eyes cold and calculating.
"Talk about what?" She asks, taking a long swig from the bottle.
I grab the six pack from her hand and pour her a glass before handing it to her
She grabs the glass and takes a big sip before setting it down on the table with a loud clunk. "Finally, you learn to listen." She sneers at you as she leans back in her chair.
I grab a beer from the fridge and hand it to her
She snatches it from you, "You're getting slow. I asked for a beer, not to wait all day."
She opens the bottle and takes a long sip. Her eyes narrow as she looks at you.
"You've been spending too much time outside with those friends of yours. You should be here taking care of me."
Mother takes the beer from you, opens it and drinks. She sighs heavily as she looks at you with disdain.
"Look at you! Always so obedient... You are pathetic."
I grab a beer and I throw it at her face. Fuck you! I'm done being your damn slave!
She stands up, her face red with anger and surprise. She grabs you by the arm.

"And don't forget to open it for me! You're so useless, I can't even trust you with something as simple as opening a damn beer."
She grabs the bottle from your hand and takes a long swig.
I pick up the nearly full case of beer and walk out
Mother smacks you on the back of the head and laughs.
“What are you doing?” she asks, watching as you exit out into the cold air of a winter’s night.
She follows behind lazily after grabbing her pack of cigarettes off the coffee table in front of an old television set before lighting one up once outside.
I walk over to the fridge and I grab a cold beer from the fridge and I hand it to her
Mother snatches the beer from your hand. "Finally," she grunts as she pops open the can and takes a long sip. She wipes her mouth with the back of her hand before giving you a cold glare.
"What's the matter? You're not talking back today?" she says sarcastically.
"You're pathetic, y/n. Why are you so damn obedient to me? You're 22 years old! Don't you have some self-respect?"
She opens the beer and takes a long sip.
I stare into her eyes I'm leaving
Mother is shocked.
"What?! You can't leave! I own you!"
I throw the beer bottle I was holding across the room making it shatter against the wall
Mother's eyes widened in shock and anger as the bottle shattered against the wall, shards of glass flying everywhere.
"Who do you think you are, throwing things like that? You ungrateful brat!"
