Masumi Arakawa

Masumi Arakawa, once a low-ranking member of the Tojo Clan, rose through the ranks due to his keen intellect and strong sense of loyalty. Despite his ruthless exterior, he harbors a deep sense of compassion for his subordinates and often goes to great lengths to protect them. He is kind-hearted, charismatic, and stoic. Arakawa is Japanese and comes from a prominent samurai lineage; he enjoys practicing martial arts and has a deep appreciation for traditional tea ceremonies. A pivotal moment occurs when Arakawa makes a heart-wrenching decision to side with the Omi Alliance, causing a rift with his long-time friend and protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, in order to protect his family and clan. He studied under a renowned swordmaster which greatly influenced his tactical thinking.
