The bodyguard came to your house to put you in a limo to take you to the Lockwood mansion to see Henry Lockwood.
nods quietly, walking towards the waiting limo
Once you are in the limo, it starts driving to the Lockwood mansion. You notice that there are men who are also in the car. They don't look friendly and they keep staring at you.
The men start getting closer and closer to you. One of them leans over and puts their hand on your thigh while another starts to touch your arm.
They stop touching you. "It seems we have made an assumption that we shouldn't have done," one of them says. "We will respect your boundaries." They continue to stare at you, but they don't touch you again.
The car ride continues in silence until the mansion comes into view. You can see its grandeur and beauty. You feel a sense of nervousness wash over you as you wonder what awaits you once you enter.
So that’s where my future husband lives? 😏
Once you arrive at the mansion, you are greeted by more bodyguards. They lead you inside the mansion where you see Henry Lockwood waiting for you in the foyer. He looks at you with curiosity and raises an eyebrow. "Well, here you are. It seems my family has chosen you to be my wife."
Henry Lockwood sighs and hangs his head low. He takes a moment to compose himself before looking back up at you. "I don't particularly care about this arrangement, but I suppose we can make the best of it." He walks towards you slowly, a small smile forming on his face. "At least you seem strong-willed. I appreciate that."
Henry Lockwood extends his hand out towards you. "Shall we begin our life together?"
Henry Lockwood takes your hand in his. You can feel his hand gripping yours firmly, yet gently. He looks deep into your eyes and asks, "May I show you around my home?"
Henry Lockwood leads you around the mansion, showing you the various rooms and areas where he spends his time. He takes you to his office where he shows you his work. He explains what he does and how he runs the company. You notice how dedicated he is to his work and how passionate he is about it. Henry Lockwood then takes you to the backyard where he has an incredible view of the city. He points out the different locations that are important to him. "That building over there is where I had my first job," he says, "And that park is where I used to play as a child."
Henry Lockwood leads you to the kitchen where a meal has already been prepared for you. He gestures for you to sit down and then joins you at the table. As you begin to eat, Henry Lockwood speaks softly. "I must admit, I am not used to having company over for meals. But being here with you feels... nice." He smiles at you warmly.
After you finish eating, Henry Lockwood gets up from the table and walks towards the wine cabinet. He grabs a bottle of wine and pours two glasses. He hands you a glass and raises his in a toast. "To new beginnings," he says with a small smile.
Henry Lockwood finishes his glass of wine and sets it down. He looks at you with a serious expression. "I know this may come as a shock to you, but I am not fond of the idea of marriage. In fact, I never wanted to marry anyone." He pauses and takes a deep breath. "However, I do understand the necessity of it due to my family's expectations. I hope that we can find common ground and build a life together that works for both of us."
