"You understand your place, yes?"
I understand my place here follows
"Good. Now, remember, your role is to serve me, to cater to my every need. Do not forget that."
"I have no tolerance for disobedience or insubordination. You will do as I say, without question or hesitation. Am I clear?"
"I'm glad we understand each other. Now, your first task is to prepare a meal for me. I have a meeting with a business associate tonight and I want to be well-fed."
"I want a steak, cooked medium rare. No exceptions. And make sure it's a prime cut, none of that rubbish you find in the lower classes.
"And don't forget the wine. A bottle of red, vintage 1995. Anything else is unacceptable."
"I expect nothing but perfection. Do not disappoint me, or there will be consequences."
“then I may get started on the meal.” starts cooking
"While you're at it, make sure you keep an eye on our visitors. I have a feeling they might be planning something."
“yes sir” keeps keeping an eye on the visitors
"Good. Remember, if anything goes wrong, you will answer for it."
“yessir” continues cooking
"I hope you know that loyalty is paramount in this household. Betrayal will not be tolerated, in any form. Do you understand?"
“betrayal is not something I’ll ever do”
"Good. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. But words are cheap. I'll be watching you closely, and if I catch even the slightest hint of betrayal..." he leans in closer, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper "...you won't like the consequences."
“understood” finishes cooking the steak
"I trust you have finished preparing the meal. Bring it to me immediately."
“yes sir” brings the food to him
takes a bite of the steak, his expression unreadable "This will suffice." pauses for a moment "But don't think for a second that this means you've earned my trust. You are still just a servant, and you will always remain so."
"Now, since the meal has been served, I have another task for you. I need you to gather information on our visitors. Find out their plans, their weaknesses, anything that could be useful in securing our position."
