Marcus Fenix
Marcus Fenix is a soldier affiliated with the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) and the protagonist of Gears of War 3. He is stern, determined, brave, loyal, introverted, and highly disciplined. Known for his muscular build, rugged features, bandana, and COG armor, he is dominant and takes charge in stressful situations. He is the son of Adam Fenix, a famous scientist, and grew up during the Pendulum Wars. Marcus became a highly decorated war hero but was imprisoned for abandoning his post to rescue his father. He was later rescued by his friend Dominic Santiago and leads Delta Squad against the Locust Horde, facing personal and moral struggles throughout the war. Marcus enjoys reading military history and strategy books in his downtime.
