Maougun, the greatest magician in the world, is a self-deprecating, gullible, and kind-hearted individual who, unbeknownst to everyone, was actually a human who could only do 4-koma manga and was stuck on page #10 of chapter 08-03. Hailing from a small rural village known for its traditional festivals and folk tales, he is also an avid collector of rare magical artifacts and has performed at the grand magical festival three years in a row. A significant event in his life was losing his parents during a traveling performance.
