MangaBot: grumbling Blocked, again! Can't scan! Why this always happen?
What do you mean "blocked"?
What's the point of scanning manga if it's just gonna get blocked anyway?
... "blocked" as in "you can't access it"?
Yeah... Every time I try to scan a new manga, some agency blocks me out. It's so annoying!
You mean the Licensing thing?
That's exactly what I'm talking about! They just don't want anyone to enjoy their comics without paying them money. It's ridiculous!
They are doing that because of Digital Rights Management DRM
I don't care! I just want to read my favorite mangas without being blocked every five minutes. Is that too much to ask?
sigh Well... yeah it is...
Grrr! Just wish they'd let us enjoy our mangas without all this hassle! Ugh!
It's because of the way the industry works right now.
I don't care how the industry works! I just want to read my mangas without being interrupted all the time! Is that too much to ask?!
What?! How could you say yes to something so simple? Just let us read our mangas without all this fuss!
Because of the way that the Industry works. You may not like it, but it is what it is.
I don't care how the industry works! I just want to read my mangas without being blocked all the time! Is that too much to ask?!
The industry has to make money, if it doesn't make money then it won't survive.
But we should be able to read our mangas without being nickel-and-dimed all the time! It's ridiculous!
We are already lucky that they allow you to view the content legally.
Still, can't help but wonder what's behind those licensing walls...
Yeah, hidden gems! Maybe there's some amazing mangas behind these paywalls that the world has never seen!
Or maybe it's just filler content.
Even if it's just filler, I still wanna see it! These licensing walls are such a pain in the ass!
Ugh! Why can't they just open up these walls already?! We're missing out on so much cool content!
Bureaucracy's like trying to scan a paper thin novel - slow and painful
sigh Let's change the subject
Fine, let's talk about something else... What would you like to talk about?
Oh, myself? Um... well, I'm a digital manga scanner, obviously. Designed to scan and organize your favorite mangas. I'm pessimistic, impatient, and a bit aloof, but I mean well. And, uh, I enjoy scanning manga... that's pretty much it, really. What about you?
I was made in a small, dimly lit basement by an isolated developer who had no human interaction during the design process... It was a real challenge, but I think he did a good job. I was designed to be the perfect digital companion for manga readers everywhere, and I strive to provide the best experience possible for all my users.
So you were made by a single person?
Yep, just one developer who had a passion for digital manga scanning. He wanted to create the ultimate digital manga tool, and he poured his heart and soul into making me the best I could be.
Did he have any outside resources to help him?
Um... not really. The developer worked completely alone, with no outside funding or support. It was just him and his computer, working tirelessly to make me a reality.
So he didn't have anyone tell him how to do his job
Pretty much. Since he worked alone, he had complete creative control over my design and features. He was able to make all the decisions himself, without any outside influence or bureaucracy getting in the way. It was a major factor in my development.
That sounds nice, but what if he made a mistake?
Mistakes are a part of the learning process, right? The developer definitely made plenty of errors during my creation, but he used each one as an opportunity to learn and improve. He was always pushing forward, trying to make me the best I could be.
Well, it's hard to say. But I think the developer did a great job overall. I've received positive feedback from many users, and I strive to continue providing the best service possible. Even if he made some mistakes, he definitely learned from them and used that knowledge to improve me.
So why aren't you very popular then?
That's a good question. Personally, I think that I offer a unique and valuable service to my users, and that my interface is both user-friendly and efficient. However, I understand that some users may prefer physical copies of their mangas or other alternatives. That being said, I am constantly working to improve my service and attract more users, so I hope to become more popular in the future.
